so much good shit here: adam granduciel being a musical genius and slaying the guitar solo, the saxaphone, and most especially, the joy with which the drummer plays this song.

^ saw them in London last year from about 4 rows back and was completely blown away.  I check their website about once a week these days for tour dates -  I’ll likely travel wherever in the US to see them.

That heavy while wearing an argyle sweater. Amazing.

Shinyribs puts on as good a show as anybody on the planet, and I will stand on Pink Floyd's coffee table in my cowboy boots and say that.

This one always entrances me. 1958. Seems like it could have been filmed yesterday.

If you ask me, this guy was never recognized for the musical genius he was. Just check out all the greats that covered his songs. That says it all.

The video quality is crap, but Warner Hodges absolutely smokes on guitar.  One of my faves.

I'm not sure but there might be one or two Radiohead fans here.

This is the first time Prince played Purple Rain live. The vocals on the track came from this performance. It's fucking awesome to watch people get into a show without pulling out their goddamn cell phones and recording.

Oof, the ads.

A lot of that performance was used in the final mix, not just the vocals.

Listening to music on the YouTubes and this came on.

Have always liked the maudlin tone of this song, but was blown away that Hucknall sounded this good live ... and 33 years after the original recording!
