So... for Derka... The one thing Rick Barnes was good at was getting elite players into the program. We always had an NBA player or two on his teams.

We don't have enough of that.

Uh lol if you think recruiting is the problem

Hmm.  I think most are in agreement about Shaka, but I recall we've also had NBA talent under him...

Does Tcu have better players? It looks like it.

Absolutely they do.  We are trying to guard Bane with Coleman.

Wait, i was told 2 days ago by surly fuckers that Shaka is getting another year, so it doesnt matter

”He’ll be back. The buyout is too much. We’d be dumb as shit to pay 20 million”

buncha idiots on here. Shaka is fucking awful, u jackasses.

For a tenth of Shaka’s salary I will draw up the offiense that will win this game,

Dont allow Dylan to touch the ball again, ever, then always pass it to Jaxson down low.

what the fuck is DO looking at?

Some guy in purple dunking.

Oh you think darkness is your ally. The shadows betray you, because they belong to me.

Can’t watch since I’m about to ref my own game. Read somewhere that the team was yelling at each other going into a huddle for a timeout.

the program is in shambles and cdc needs to made the call after the b12 tournament

We cant afford it. We arent paying millions for a new basketball coach

ha fucking ha.  shaka so fucking exposed.  I think he's just fucking with CDC challenging him to fire him.

The team probably gets an NIT bid, so after that one and done.

Of course we can afford it. This is the University of Texas we're talking about.

It's amazing ya'll think $20 million in buyouts is just some chump change for Texas when they're in the middle of all type of construction projects.

Shaka needs to be fired but the idea Texas can find $20 million when none of the BMD's want to contribute is funny.

Do you even watch longhorn basketball?

100 million would even be worth it at this point

It's called reality. All fans want to win. If you have $20 million feel free to contribute.

I hope you don't run a business.

I think it would be cheaper to fire Shaka now and hire Hoiberg than it would be to fire Shaka after 2020 and deal with x coach’s buyout plus Shaka’s.

Nah. $100 million is chump change to Texas. Sarcasm.

this is awesome.  OU and TCU get in and we are out.  that was absolutely the worst case scenario and it may just happen.

Will TCU pull a Texas and blow a huge double digit lead on the road?

Nah

I find it strange that people keep spouting the bullshit about “none of the donors want to donate to basketball” right now. They watch the games. They know we have one of the shittiest bball coaches in school history right now. Theyll easily pay 20 million

laughable man

Maybe things will change but almost every major site has reported the BMDs don't want to get involved. It's not just some random bullshit that posters are running with.

If they don't make the tournament, he's gone. They'll find the money.

19 point lead with 8 min to go

Will TCU go into a stall and blow it ?

Nah

I think it will definitely give the BMDs more incentive to act. That's really the only way Shaka was going to be fired. A dumpster fire season to get the BMDs involved.

But even if we miss the tournament I don't think it's a guarantee Shaka is fired.

We have played our way out of the tournament now with a first round conference tournament game with Kansas.

That should get us a new coach....maybe.

if it was a guarantee I would take it.
