Good game. Good pitching.  Sitting here with my tortilla tossing alum friends is fun

With a relatively inexperienced set of weekend starters, nice having a reliable bullpen

Love seeing Fields coming around.   Damn dude was dealing tonight.

Helluva turnaround for the Horns!

Something I love about Pierce is he doesn't have designated pitching roles. Some managers are going to bring in their closer in the 9th no matter the situation. When a guy is dealing like Fields you stick with them.

Hook’em!

Great win but defense is still a cause for concern.

No errors tonight and Hibbeler has been pretty solid at SS so far

Yep. For once we were on the right side of that last box score column

Defense was fine except for one bad decision by Duke.

Hibbeler is solid at SS.

Love the replay in first inning where McCann threw out Tech runner and then said.... "Sit Down Bitch!!"  🤘

Great first game of the series. Way to battle.

You are correct, my bad. Thought I recalled another.

Catcher made a big difference in pitching and defense.

Too true.

Welcome back, McCann.

JFC

Looking forward to going to the game tomorrow with my Tech friend. He was extra salty tonight. Like a pretzel.

Think I’ll be making it out today. Really digging this young team. Pierce is sure earning his money working around the roster issues.

And because it made me laugh, this little excerpt from the BON recap... The game started at a pace slower than a Texas Tech reading program, with the first score of the game coming in the third inning.

Is it sold out? Could I walk up and get 4? Don't care where the seats are.

Go online. There are still pairs of reserved seats and general admission tickets. You can buy online and print them out.

To elaborate, there is a bizarro-hllarious-superhero-anti-spiderman character called Deadpool.  He is portrayed in two movies by the actor Ryan Reynolds.

If you aren't down with comic books/movies, then you might not be aware of Deadpool.  But that's the connection.

Am I missing something, what's the hangup?  The replay is in the 7th and there's no sign of switching over at 2:35.

Any sign of DDA?? 🤘
