That wasn’t a mound visit until it was.

I think I take the ball.   Needs to pinch it quicker.

I love this team.  I'm not going to just say it when we are ahead.

Haven't read through this whole thread but guessing this has been posted. It's so nice to hear good play by play, and not having to listen to Galindo.

Poor approach on that last at bat by Reynolds....

Lots of Horns batters today making the Tech pitcher look than he's throwing today....

DAMN

Blair is a totally different pitcher this inning. Starting the inning with a 4 pitch walk is a mental thing. Hope a great outing isn't wasted.

Pierce late on that pitching change.

Blair pitched a great game.... 🤘

Cmon Cole. Need some wizardry here.

Oh damn, Henley returns for the 8th.

Should not have obviously...that's not the first time Pierce has done that

Henley I suppose has always had a problem maintaining a mental edge, Going a full seven innings with an immoderate pitch count probably strained his ability to hold it together.  Not to mention pure fatigue.

He probably should have been pulled after the first walk.  I won't fault letting him start the 8th.

Batter flies to right, runner beats Todd's throw. Nothing could be done.

1-0 TTU

What the hell kind of throw was that from left field?

Weak.

What was the intentional walk all about? We put that runner on base with 2 outs for a reason?

Wait, what happened here. I turned around and saw a fly out to right (or thought I did) with the run scoring. But the runner made it to first and there was still only 1 out?

I did that once in high school.  Trying to hard to throw it hard.

Pierce needs to think a bit about how he handles starters and relievers at the start of an inning.

One might question Henley starting the 8th .. but, there was no fucking question after he walked the leadoff man on four straight pitches.

This one’s on Pierce.
