February 7, 20232 yr This isn't hard to make at home from scratch, but when you are feeling lazy or want something already made, it's really quite good: It's really thick - almost like a condensed soup. We usually add some chicken stock or water to thin it out a little. It pairs great with:

April 9, 20232 yr New product - Pitted and Grilled Chalkidiki Olives. On the shelves (not refrigerated). Fantastic. Wood grilled flavor, firm and fleshy greek olive.
January 23, 20241 yr TJ Award Winners Apparently, I don't have the same taste as other people. Looking forward to the gelapenno/cream cheese wontons.

January 26, 20241 yr Alright fellas. I bought nearly every item in the last 2 pages. They were out of stock on the rosemary nuts.

January 30, 20241 yr These are growing on me. The texture/crunch was off at first, but I'm digging them. Basically a ranch-ish flavored Frito.
February 22, 20241 yr Tried their bbq chicken pizza, would buy again. Edited February 22, 20241 yr by Underdog

February 29, 20241 yr These make a damn good fish sammich. Toasted brioche, melt some chee, maybe some pickles… good eats.

March 19, 20241 yr The frozen garlic naan is quite good. Probably blasphemous, but I like to deep it in olive oil with a little Greek dressing salt, pepper, rosemary, and red pepper.

Employee said fried olives are seasonal, won't be back until November. Linguine w/clams appears to have been discontinued, not happy about that one.
June 21, 20241 yr SIAP. I heard a podcast about this the other day. It's pretty well documented, in my opinion, that Trader Joes is ripping off smalltime food creators who come to them with insanely good ideas. That's really fucking shitty ---- and there's nothing they can do about it, legally.https://www.kcrw.com/news/shows/press-play-with-madeleine-brand/gaza-tj-labor-hbo-nba/trader-joes It’s one thing to buy samples of a product you want to knock off and do the work to create a version of it. It’s quite another, if the article is accurate, to feign interest in a product to get access to ideas and trade secrets and then bring your own version of product to market, knowing the inventor probably doesn’t have the resources to bring legal action. Just don’t be fucking asshole dickheads. Which is apparently too much to ask.

That does hugely suck. My eyes popped when I saw Chitra Agrawal's name mentioned. Super nice woman with whom I corresponded in the past. We've been customers of Brooklyn Delhi for a couple years now and I highly recommend their sauces and achaars. And the spicy chutney. I found Brooklyn Delhi through another small Indian food company, Diaspora Co., which sells the best spices you'll likely ever come across. Just mentioning because Diaspora makes great gifts for any person who loves to cook. Brooklyn Delhi sells great sauces (coconut curry, korma, masala) when you want to give the cook in the family a night off but don't want to go out/order delivery.
June 22, 20241 yr They need to get confidentiality agreements before entering discussions. TJ probably won't sign them, but they won't get any good recipes, either.
July 23, 20241 yr Amazon hired an exec. from TJ's a few years ago. Didn't tell her exactly why she was hired but when she began the job, it was made clear: they expected her to help them create an Amazon private label similar to TJs by replicating the top 200 products TJ's sold, and demanded that she provide them with all documentation about TJs sales and products she could get her hands on, etc. Things didn't go well.
