In all likelihood, for the second time in three years, Texas will not be in the NCAA tournament, which is a travesty. Nevertheless, the show must go on. CBS is thankfully reverting back to the traditional bracket reveal instead of regarded alphabetical lists from last year.

Not much bubble drama today, as all conference tourney finals are either in one-bid leagues with no further chances for thieves, or between power conference teams that are safely in the tournament.

I, for one, am bursting with excitement to see whether we can get a 1 seed in the NIT or if we will have to settle for a 2 seed

😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

absolutely LOVE Selection Sunday

second favorite month behind October

Edited by The Tower

Best day of the year. Even better with the players championship moved to this weekend. Great sports month from 3/11 - 4/11

Predictions:

1's: Duke, Virginia, Gonzaga, Michigan State

2's: North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Michigan

Last 4 in: Clemson, Belmont, TEXAS, oklahoma

East is a solid bracket. Not too tough, not too easy.

Duke should cruise to the final four in that bracket tbh

Duke would cruise in 3/4 of the brackets. They’re a damn solid team.

Tough seeding for MSU. Not only do they get a 2 seed, but they're rewarded with Duke's region.

#1: Virginia in South region

Edited by The Tower

MSU seeded as the weakest #2 seed - I call bullshit, but now back to celebrating the dual B1G championships.

Fuck the committee

oklahoma being a 9 should be favorable for texas.  the resumes are basically equal.

KSU getting no love being sent to CA.

So Texas’ 8% outside chance snuffed out in the first four/ first region reveal? Nice.

Sorry.  If OU is 9 then Texas should be in.

Lol this is the tourney committee we are talking about

This, I would be surprised if no Texas, probably gonna be an 11 seed in the play in

What a shit draw for K-State.  Is there some kind of NCAA rule that we must be placed as close to Wisconsin in the bracket as possible?  And why is a 4 seed having to play a 13 seed in the 13 seed's home state?

OU 1-8 against Top 25.  Texas 5-7.

So basically the goal posts are moved again and it’s overall record not the resume. Win 19 and you are in.

Shitty draw for Purdue. Road game against a streaking nova in round two.

Then we would be bounced pre-1st round.

virginia/tennessee would be a tremendous regional final

Virginia has to get by Garder-Webb first LOL

Still two brackets to go but at some point you have to win games. .500 has never cut it before regardless of resume.

Nah, we will win and then extend Shaka for 5 more years

i agree with you, but if texas doesn't get in the only reason is going to be the .500 winning % because all of the other metrics say they should be in.

but it won't surprise me at all if the committee uses the .500 record as reasoning to keep them out.

True but a team woth a worse conference record gets a 9 seed with a weak schedule just because they won 19 games. I don’t disagree Texas has to win games they should have to get in.

Weren’t the four play-in teams in the first region?

Hayes injury hurts Texas too.....
