Guess it was just a cosmic coincidence that 100% of the slaves were black.

Russel Crow was a slave.

He was white.

AND he eventually won his freedom.

Only in America can that story take place.

Therefore, America isn't racist.

QED.

Their stupidity meter is limitless; there is no breaking point.

Texas abandoned her separate national existence and consented to become one of the Confederated States to promote her welfare, insure domestic tranquility [sic] and secure more substantially the blessings of peace and liberty to her people. She was received into the confederacy with her own constitution, under the guarantee of the federal constitution and the compact of annexation, that she should enjoy these blessings. She was received as a commonwealth holding, maintaining and protecting the institution known as negro slavery--the servitude of the African to the white race within her limits--a relation that had existed from the first settlement of her wilderness by the white race, and which her people intended should exist in all future time. Her institutions and geographical position established the strongest ties between her and other slave-holding States of the confederacy.

Republicans: Now, we can't go putting words in the mouths of our forefathers - we don't know exactly what they were trying to say!

Thanks. Was going to post exactly that.

GQP: “the civil war wasn’t about slavery and racism!”

Actual Confederates, at the time: “so, we’re totally going to secede and fight to protect slavery and the racist order of things.”

GQP: “see, it was about states rights!”

So to fight socialism, Tucker seems to be advocating for Communism now....

There was an article posted sometime in the past month or so where they were interviewing rural Trump voters. The discussion mostly centered around the COVID stimulus money that “Trump sent them.” The framing seemed a lot like this. It’s the weirdest, dumbest coalition: anti-communist commies?

Why hasn’t anyone called out Carleson for calling Trump “one of the most despicable people on the planet” in 1999 when Trump put out feelers to run for president? That should tell people about Carlesons real motives, and that is he is nothing but a whore for ratings.

Fox was made up of half straight news and half commentary with a conservative lean. Now it’s all commentary and no straight news but all propaganda.

That guy legit looks and sounds like he may be developmentally delayed but fox puts him on the national 'news'.  Because... of course!

All of you out there with half demented parents who watch this shit all day - change the channel every time.  Maybe they'll change it back but at least make an effort.  This shit is beyond the pale.

What do you mean?!! He told us he has not just one, but two medical degrees at the school board meeting a few weeks ago.

I noticed he left out his own alma mater, Trinity College, in his diatribe against universities. It may be lesser known, but it's just as expensive.

FOX’S lawyers will just reiterate that no reasonable person would believe anything Fucker says.

There is an amazing group of grifters that are taking advantage of the right and some on the right are perfectly fine with it.

The grift is simple. You need to come from a background where most of your demographic group is democrat/liberal/progressive.  See Dave Rubin, Candace Owens. Or you talk a game about still being a progressive or liberal. See Dave Rubin or Tim Pool.  Claim some level of neutrality between the two sides. Then continually bash the left and cheer on the right. Money flows in from right groups, and you're invited to speak at events. Doesn't Charlie Kirk enable a fair # of the talks?

While the grift is strong, you can burn bridges. Even Rogan had enough of Rubin since he talked Rogan into a disastrous interview with Owens. And Rubin made really stupid comments on his last Rogan appearance. Something about eliminating all construction codes and inspections. Rogan periodically makes fun of Rubin and Owens without naming them.

At the very least they should be made to have this as a disclaimer before every show.

Disclaimer: I spew bullshit, Fox Lawyers even say so.

To be a fly on the wall when MAGAs see Jenner on FOX news

What's got the lawyers spooked?

The completely binary paradox of all these shows stirring up skepticism in the vaccine and now broadly endorsing it...that clip show practically edits itself.  I assume the side-by-sides will be available on twitter by morning.

Holy shit, what the fuck happened at the FoxNews team building retreat over the weekend besides every guy offering to catch Ainsley Earnhardt during the trust fall?

Looks like the lawyers forgot to tell them to stop spreading all the antivaxx bullshit. Mixing in a pro-vax PSA is just bizarre.

Steve Doocy (morning), Brett Baier (mid day) and Hannity (night) all made it a point today. Someone got on the network’s ass.

Doocy, Baier, and Hannity either had lawyers talking to them.  Or they checked their stock portfolios.

This Thursday, my family is hosting a memorial service for my Fox News loving father. I thought about it some this weekend and asked my mom to talk with both the funeral home as well as the church where we'll be having a luncheon. I asked her please to put up signs and make some available for the ignorant assess, because I don't want his service to be a super spreader event amongst her social group, of which my 80-year-old mom told me that about half of her friends refuse to get the shot.

She doesn't understand it, and I told her it was probably because they all watch Fox News and are listening to Tucker Carlson for healthcare advice. She answered in a defiant "he never questioned the virus!" tone, but admitted that her friends have said they could never believe a word that came out of Fauci's mouth. I could only shake my head and ask that masks are made available, because the irony of people dying from catching a virus that my stubborn-headed dad's funeral would be too much.

Right now, in my home county, only 52% over the age of 65 are fully vaccinated, as well as only 25% of the entire population.

I'm sure TC believes Uppitiness is at the root of America's problems.  Oh how he longs for the days when those who got "uppity" were dealt with appropriately.

I live in Austin but am talking about where I grew up out in West Texas.

I’m on phone so no quote but apparently Tucker is now touting the benefits of the vaccine.
