I mean, he was clearly doing it to poke fun at Hunter Pence who does this every game (for some reason), but Odor is a punch line right now regardless. So I get it.

3 out of the top 10 draft picks tonight played ball for a Big 12 school in Texas. Nary a Longhorn among them.

Awful sequence for the Phillies in SD after McCutcheon led off with a walk:

Jean Segura gets ahead 2-0 but goes to a knee to chase a low pitch, which he pops up to 2B...Kinsler smartly sees Segura isn't running so he lets the ball drop and they easily force Segura/tag McCutcheon for a double play...McCutcheon suffers some type of non-contact knee injury and is out of the game

That is fucking awesome.

That dude had 3 Es on 3 consecutive hitters at 3B early this season against Bos. I was fucking praying Xander would hit a 4th to him.

I seriously LOL every time i watch it and have watched it a good 10 times already

Haha what in the fuck did I just watch. For a team that’s had a laundry list of terrible defensive plays, that’s gotta be your leader in the clubhouse by a long shot.

Yeah i thought an awesome dipshit dive by Smith in the 1st was gonna be their defensive gem of the night....boy was I wrong

Dodgers 23-7 over the last 30. Freight train is rollin'.

WTF you doing, Brewers?  Optioned Keston Hiura back to San Antonio.

Hiura batted .281/.333/.531 with five home runs over 69 plate appearances for the Brew Crew, but the team has decided to send him back down with Travis Shaw (wrist) coming off the injured list.

Shaw: 163/266/281, -0.7 bWAR this season

Torn ACL for Cutch

Out the rest of the season

why was the infield fly rule not called on that play?

Because there was only a man on 1st.

Cabrera, who is in the lineup for Tuesday's home game with the Tampa Bay Rays, is batting .284 this season, but his power numbers are down significantly, with 2 home runs and 22 RBIs.

Cabrera won the Triple Crown in 2012 and won back-to-back American League MVP awards in 2012 and 2013. He signed an eight-year, $248 million contract with the Tigers in 2014. He has five years and $154 million remaining on the deal, and will be making $32 million per year at ages 39 and 40.

Damn, that is a whole lot of scratch.

It’s only when runners are on 1st and 2nd or if the bases are loaded. That’s 100% on segura for not running it out. Although, after a certain point, hindsight is 20-20, but cutch was trying extra hard to get out of that run down. He was never getting out of that run down. Major leagues, man.

Also, baseball is a funny sport. You can catch any team in the league at the right time, or the wrong time. Any team. The marlins have won 4 of their last 5 series, and are leading 13-0 on the road against the Brewers tonight in the 5th inning. The marlins.

Because, baseball.

And the immortal Hanser Alberto leads MLB in BA against lefties with minimum 50 AB.

It's funny, true, but that's what a homer station like WGN does.

the twins and the cubs are emerging as the favorites for Kimbrel.

And this is still easily one of the dumbest fucking team rules out of there(especially in 2019) but if Dallas Keuchel actually shaves his beard to join the Yankees, that will be one of the funniest image transitions in all of sports. He’s going to look ridiculous.

Yeah, Dodgers want Kimbrel, but he insists on closing, and that won’t happen with Jansen.  But if we need anything, and we don’t need much, it’s bullpen help.  And damn, Ryu is pitching lights out this season.

And if the jays really wanted to show they’re serious about pride month they should wear “Toronto Blue Gays” gear for a game, instead of just rainbowing out their twitter profile pic.

Diaz has been shaky too. Meanwhile Kelenic’s numbers in the Sally League at age 19:

50 games, .309/.394/.586, 11 homers and plays CF. Already been promoted to high A. Such a Mets trade

Robinson Canó, who has been out with a left quad strain, was in the Mets' lineup against the Giants on Wednesday, starting at second and batting third, but he exited the game in the top of the fifth inning.

The Mets announced that he was removed with tightness in his left quad, the same injury that had him on the injured list from May 23 until earlier on Wednesday.

Cano had grounded into a double play in the bottom of the third and appeared to be running gingerly on the play. He played the fourth inning in the field before being removed the following inning.

Rosenthal says 3/~$45M for Kimbrel.

3/$43 which is fair. His hope for a 6 year deal was a pipe dream.

That’s not bad. And I am assuming year one is prorated too.
