January 14, 20223 yr There’s a lot of nuance to his character in the book. Definitely the biggest change from the movie to book is Cliff
January 14, 20223 yr Was it supposed to be ambiguous in the movie that he definitely killed his wife?
January 14, 20223 yr Another difference is that Angie McDowells daughter was fingering herself in pitts car on the drive out to Spahn ranch. There were a couple descriptions of womens bare feet in there and I thought that was funny. I guess he was typing one handed.
January 27, 20223 yr Just finishing up on FX… GD I love the scene with Cliff bashing that chick’s face against the fireplace mantle.

May 21, 20232 yr it’s tarantino’s theater. I know. I was trying to be clever and paraphrase a quote from the movie.

He does a weekly podcast with Roger Avary called Video Archives where they talk about different movies they had at that video store they both worked at. In the latest episode, they are discussing the filmography of Rick Dalton like they were all real movies that they had seen and have various trivia tidbits and stories about each. THAT is some dedication to your bit.

May 26, 20232 yr I didn’t remember this from my own childhood when I first watched pulp fiction at 14 when it came out, but my kids watch old looney tunes now, and this was taken from one called “three little bops.“Enjoyable little discovery.

April 2Apr 2 Cliff was great. Ladies… then proceeds to kick a hippies ass in front of them for knifing a car tire.
April 2Apr 2 If you’re a big fan of the movie, the novelization that Tarantino put out is great. Has several parts that were not in the movie and is all centered around Cliff. Wouldn’t be surprised if we see some of those parts depicted or at least referenced.

April 8Apr 8 Author More info about this. It's not a direct sequel. It time jumps to 1977 and is more "the further adventures of Cliff Booth".
