You would think after all these years TCU would know how to stop our hunting game. This is a clinic.

How is it that we're bunting safely so often?  Speed?  Despite all the grousing about some players, we've had some damn good bunts of late.

We seem to struggle with the sacrifice bunt more than bunting for a hit

Are we ever going to try to stretch out Cobb?

When they do, the complaint will be that we left him in too long.

His command isn't good enough to match the stuff he has. He has the potential to be like Nathan Thornhill. Nathan didn't have great stuff but he located it at an elite level.

Fields makes Watson chase one into the dirt, ending the inning.

5-2 Texas after 5

Yep, no issue with pulling Cobb there.

We have the arms, use them.

Kennedy's speed on full display there with the leadoff infield single.

Well, Cobb seems to get pulled after 3 or 4 every Sunday even if he's only given up 1 or 2.  It contributed to us being in a tight spot for the Tuesday-Wednesday games against Arkansas.  It would be nice to develop a Sunday starter that can go 5 or 6 innings and a midweek starter that can do the same.  We don't seem to have either so far.
