If Altuve isn’t 100%, keep him out. If he needs season ending surgery, pull the trigger today

That link was perfect. Thanks

Altuve won't be 100% until 2020. I'm not sure wast kind of knee surgery he had, but it usually takes a full year to recover back to where you were. His hamstring put him on the IL this year.

Altuve "could be" activated Wednesday.  Of course, Wednesday "could be" the day he's fitted for a peg leg.  It's 50-50 with the Astros.

I don't think they specified exactly what ligament was involved in the avulsion fracture of the knee, but here is a video I found that explains what happened.

I never knew that's what avulsion meant.  He didn't tear a ligament, but he ripped it off the bone, which doesn't seem much better.  He is a beast for playing through that.

I will have to respectfully disagree after watching this.

Doubly disturbing that the clip was sponsored by a funeral home. The Tuve’s injury might be far more serious that first feared ...

Friend of a friend saw Jose in ABIA this morning waiting for a flight to Cincinnati.

I too was at ABIA this morning waiting for a flight to Cincinnati...and did not see him.

But I was with the poors and families flying Frontier out of the south terminal.

For his own mental well-being, I’m glad Altuve wasn’t on that flight

Soon

(How many surlies are here? And do any of you have a spare bed for one of your own and his idiot cousin who had 1 job)

Hit up scraps

I got no beds. Already 4 deep with not enough beds for all 4 of us lol

Forgot to post that after the game last night ol Robert Ford was at the bar across the street getting his drink on.

Pretty sure we all needed one after that shitshow

Glad we have Jake back

I love Jake as with the occasional start and late inning defensive substitution. But his hitting has crashed down to earth after his hot start. Last 23 games- .178 BA, .583 OPS

Cant wait till no longer have to #13 in lineup

joe Smith also on rehab assignment this week

How shitty must AJ Reed be these days that he could not force White off this team. That cat may as well go sell cars.

Jose Altuve (hamstring, knee) will indeed be activated off the injured list Wednesday.

Altuve just finished up a three-game minor league rehab assignment and has already joined up with the Astros in Cincinnati. The star second baseman landed on the IL back on May 10 with a left hamstring strain and then began experiencing discomfort in his surgically-repaired right knee just before he was set to return from that hamstring injury. All is well now, and he should be in Houston's starting lineup Wednesday versus the Reds.

Hinch said Collin McHugh still wants to refine his delivery and pitches and get more efficient, but his arms feels great, "which is his No. 1 priority." He'll pitch again Friday and Saturday at Corpus Christi.

im about to send her a text to look over her shoulder
Shes facetiming her husband

Kinda nice that they let you buy beer before waiting in line for tix

JV just walked to the bullpen if that means anything.

My uneducated analysis of radar appears to indicate it’s going to go north of us
