rain delay !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can bet if we were working their pitcher over like this it would’ve been called already.

so how do we go about getting this game cancelled, instead of suspended and completed later?

I was thinking the same thing.

Someone dust off the rules

Personally i would rather just START HITTING THE FUCKING BALL LADIES

cut to shot of tyler white talking to an umpire.  one of them does not have the body of a professional athlete.

so glad hinch chose now to walk out to the mound to take control of the situation.  instead of when framber was rushing bp fastballs right down broadway during a rainstorm.

This. He’s a great 7/8 guy

No, he's not. He's below average now anywhere you put him. Not sure why some of guys approve of below average everyday players, when you have assets to go improve over them.

Also move Altuve out of the top half of the lineup until he proves he is healthy and starts hitting again.

We need those 2nd and 3rd lines to hurry and catch up with the first before we make three outs in the 5th.

Come on #2!

A rainout can also occur after the game has started; at this point the game is "called". If conditions, improve, the game is resumed as soon as conditions permit and played until its conclusion; this is also called a rain delay. If the game cannot be resumed, the following rules apply:

1. A game is considered to be a regulation game (also called an "official game") if 4½ innings have been played and the home team is leading, or if 5 innings have been played. If a rainout prevents the completion of a game that has become a regulation game, the result stands, and the remaining portion of the game is not played.

2. If the game is not yet a regulation game, it is considered not to have started; all statistics are wiped out and the game is replayed in its entirety.

3. If the game is a regulation game but the score is tied when called, or if the visiting team has taken the lead in its last-half inning at bat and the home team has not had a chance to complete its own turn at bat, the game is a suspended game and is resumed at a later date.

4. If a suspended game cannot be resumed because of the end of the season, the result is allowed to stand, either as a tie or as a win for the visiting team.

This team has finally “hit the wall” with it’s current configuration. Need a healthy roster again, and a boost to the pitching staff.

The radar i was seeing was showing rain pretty much until sunrise, but it will prob get light enough where they will restart and the yankees can just swing at jack diddly to get to the 5th

Yankees have already had at least 2 rain-shortened wins this year.

I’m betting 4 more outs are going to happen tonight to make it a third 3.

Dear baseball gods, please remember this in October

I think Yankees ground crew uses the same brand of tarp as Cincinnati.

I hate that I know this

Seems like CC would have been a better destination tonight.

Time to option Devo, not sure for who but they can’t be any worse.

He hasn't been good since about midseason 2017.
