Pitch Miley the rest of this game. Have him develop an injury overnight. Bring in Peacock or Abreu to replace him. Who cares if Miley can’t play in the ALCS.

I'm down with Abreu getting a shot.  Love me some Peacock, but I'm worried he's still hurt.

I think it's safe to say that not signing Morton instead of trading for Greinke is not paying off today.

I changed my fucking shirt. If they turn this around you can thank me later.

The good news is, Miley seems to be throwing strikes. The bad news is, that means the Rays can reach the pitches to hit them.

This obviously sucks, but let's not forget we lost game 3 of the 2017 ALDS 10-3.

A sweep would have been nice but surprising. There's a reason why teams are in the playoffs. I'd actually rather lose a blowout than a tense one run game. Easy to get over a blowout and see it as an anomaly. Tight games can change momentum. Blowouts are like eh, just a bad game.

Too bad this isn't the NL, I'd like to see a Roe v Wade Miley confrontation.

We seem to hit better against worse pitching. Shocking news right there.

Making them burn through a few more relievers with a bullpen game tomorrow wouldn't be a terrible thing.

Chaz is a stupid name

Their playoff ERA’s are definitely an abortion right now

Sad to realize Miley gave up a HR in that inning...and still lowered his playoff ERA.

Springer def slumping, same with Brantley, the sky isn’t falling but can’t have all bats go flat here and now.

I am starting to remember that we dont play well at this Park

I’m starting to remember I told you fuckers we wanted the A’s over the Rays...

But yeah, remain calm. Still firmly on the driver’s seat.
We’re one Rays run away from matching that 2017 ALDS game 3 final score of 10-3 and things worked out well that year.

Although I hope for a much less stressful game 4 in 2019 vs what we saw in ‘17.

Springer is cold as ice

He may be willing to sacrifice

Let's scratch out two or three runs here.  Don't let them get too comfortable.

well there you go

"There's nothing wrong with our team that great pitching, timely hitting and stellar defense won't cure."

I know it's not over til it's over, still have 2 games in the bag, CFM rocks, Trop sux, etc etc etc all standard disclaimers apply... but this game is a beating.

Verlander should pitch tomorrow.

Make them beat Verlander and Cole.

Sure if you’re down 2-1.

That doesn’t seem smart up 2-1.

Have JV and Cole ready to go all 9 Thursday on full rest if needed.

If he starts tomorrow, he would be have to pitch on three days rest for game one of the ALCS. Not too bad of we win as you just start Cole instead, but if we lose tomorrow and Cole has to pitch game 5, that's a problem.

I disagree.  Make them win two games against your aces.  Instead of one.

JV is a workhorse.  He can pitch tomorrow.

I’d be fine with it.

I could seeing one of the two aces pitching tomorrow with a late lead.  Not as a starter

This is correct

Hope this effort today pissed the team off as much as it did to us.
