We watched the best pitches that inning. Friggin bats on shoulders. Great pitching.

No shit. Some of those over the plate looked like balls we usually smash.

I just said to my boys, i know he's going to give up some homers, it's just a matter of how many. And they need to be solo shots.

He’s (almost) always good for one of those...

But what a terrible pitch

hopefully that's just the patented verlander 1 hit 1 run through 7 stat line.

This is why short rest starts are dumb.  Making your best pitchers mediocre because they still aren't recovered doesn't help.

Location seems to be a big issue. This is not good.

His location is way off. No swings and misses either

Don’t panic, y’all. Astros aren’t.  Guarantee it.

Can we panic now?

Houston fan in me is thinking they are going down in 5 games to the rays.

Believed this after we shit the bed yesterday.

I never weighed in one way or the other about today's starter, so it's easy for me to say it now, but I wanted him to go with Urquidy.

Hinch is the manager. You stick with your plan, not Verlander's. Verlander and Cole on full rest in game 5 should have always been the plan.

Well, this gamble appears to have been a bad one.

Maybe, but I think Cole is less likely to implode in a do or die game 5 than higher home run risk rested JV.  So the gamble may still pay off for the series.

Feels like the 2017 playoffs, with ups and down and the outcome never assured until late WS game 7.

There are still 8 innings left in game 4 and people in this thread are giving up on the season...
