did all 3 HR go into the same section?

Seemed like they all landed within about a 20 foot diameter circle.

Yeah but a shit ton of them.

Actually only 19, one 7 game series loss and then 3 sweeps

We’re 1 win away from a pennant and all you can do is dissect and bitch about “analysis” coming from an ex-Yankee?

The gall we have bitching on a message board

Yeah, looking at their bbref, the careers don't overlap as much as I was thinking.  Ruth played in 6 WS before Gehrig came along and then Gehrig played in 3 after Ruth.

Almost as good as Grendel's night golfing accuracy.

all bullshit aside, is there any way the yankees can honor derek jeter before the game tomorrow ???

I do know his BiL but that doesn't hold enough away. Maybe they can hand out Re2pect hats to the first 50,000 fans 😉

The last visiting team to win back to back games in Yankee Stadium was the Tigers on April 2 and 3.

The Tigers also swept the Jankees in the 2012 ALCS....

Im all about fan to other team’s fan friendly banter. But it’s just dirty to dig up dirt on players and talk shit to them. I didn’t even know all this stuff on Grienke.

My response would be “I’m at work mfer. Find me after the game to discuss or I can come to your shit job tomorrow and taunt you”

If we can get Pressly going and healthy for the W.S., that would be pretty fan-fuckingtastic.

I suggest all of you pussies who live and die with every pitch/batter immediately head to the liquor store before 9 or call your dealer because y’all need to settle down.

I hope y’all headed my advice

1 win away from cockblocking the Jankees from the World Series for the entire decade. First time that has happened since the 1910's before a player named Babe Ruth suited up for them.

I hope y’all headed my advice
head to the liquor store before 9? wtf?

they open 24/7 here

So there are some advantages to living in HELL

I still love how they are glossing over the fact that the Astros are 4/33 (.121 avg) with RISP this series, which actually worse than the Yankees 4/27 (.148 avg). The way they talk about it you would think we take advantage of every scoring opportunity.

lemme add to that

how fucking amazing has Will Harris been?

when's the last time this guy gave up a run? or a hit? or even a walk?

Now Harold Reynolds has Hinch on the road to Cooperstown...

I mean, when he's a five-time World Series Champions manager...

Move to Miami and commit occupational suicide?

Don't ruin the internet for them.

If we were to win today, Cole can pitch game 1 of the WS.

Joe Girardi on MLB post game...

“greinke was so cool in that first inning jam his EKG was going backwards”

Or if we win in Game 6 because he shouldn't pitch on 3 days rest in a non-elimination game.

I took a close look at the schedule and I’m here to tell you that today is the most important game of the season !!!!!!!

I really want them to end it tonight so that Hinch isn't tempted to do something stupid in Game 6.

Eh I don’t think there’s any danger of that. Cole will only be used in a game 7.

We are definitely on the same page here....

I can’t wait to see what Carlos buys Daniella today on 5th Ave. I’m sure she gave up her ass last night, so I’ll bet it’s gonna be pretty nice.

I hope not. Pretty good chance Correa will break something doing that.

The purse curse is real, he has to buy her a purse before every playoff game now !!!!

Sadly in the sports world we live. Where sports highlights seem to always consist of extreme athletic ability. Greinke’s 1st inning performance can get easily lost. But his ability to control his emotions, and demonstrate just how cerebral the veteran is. I’m not even a Astro’s fan, but I completely enjoyed watching the man show how you handle adversity and ultimately persevere. Good stuff. He has a new fan.

And JV pitches Game 2 on full rest.

I’ve give. Greinke plenty of shit over his recent appearances but after that shaky start he really pulled it together and pitched well.

He was solid in gm 1 as well, our bats just weren't hitting. He's not the reason we lost that game.

Steve Phillips on Sirius XM MLB Radio this morning adamantly insists that the Yankees will win this series because they'll beat Verlander tonight at Yankee Stadium, then dominate a bullpen game in Houston and lay off Cole to work traffic and hit a big long ball to beat us in game 7.

Must be an order on high from his bosses to get callers into the show because even China won't troll that one.

Congrats Astros. One win away from WS. This is the greatest Texas sports team I’ve seen in my life—in any sport. I hope JV ends it today. Good luck.
