He's also on pace to break his strikeout record from last April.  Weird season from him so far.

Cole has been as good, if not better, than he was last year.

2.67 Runs support will lead to a 1-4 record

I doubt that it looks that much different, actually. And that’s not a bad thing. Im plenty excited about the team as it stands. Any additions are gravy.

all my thoughts kemp and white, probably won't be on the team as the season progresses. we will likely add another #2-3 type of starting pitcher, not including any type of call up in the form of whitley/bukakke. factor in we will get joe smith back around the all-star break and will, probably, move miley to the bullpen as season progresses.

I'm sure Whitley is on an innings limit.  I don't know how much they will be able to county on him at the end of year/playoffs.  I think they are definitely going to have to trade for a starter.

I think White probably sticks. And if Whitley looks ready-he’s quietly off to a bad start yet without the angst directed at Tucker-I don’t think they’ll add a starter either.

Anyway, I see any changes as on the margins, which is why I said not a lot different. Maybe we just disagree on what constitutes a lot.

No he didn't.

Don't be a sore loser bitch. Yes, Tyler got a lot of help from that fucking bullshit DP call. But you're blinder than Angel Hernandez if you didn't see good pitching from him. He's a piece of shit conspiracy nut dickwad, but he was throwing really, really well yesterday.

He pitched quite poorly.  When accounting for K, BB, and launch angle/exit velo for each BBE, he had an expected wOBA against of .425, or about the same as JD Martinez's wOBA last season.

I think that has more to do with our hitters being good than his pitching being bad.

He's a good pitcher but walked 6 guys last night and only struck out 3. Plus (to previous point) there were some hard-hit balls. Ordinarily that's not a recipe for success. But, baseball.

We can all agree that the guy seems like an insufferable prick, though.

He’s the worst. I have some family that know him and they never shut up about him, especially when he’s playing against the Astros.

My opinion is probably wrong because I didn't see the whole game. He looked good in the innings i did see.

He definitely is an insufferable prick.

Carlos Santana looked like Mattingly at 1st last night.

Any of yall catch the pre game?

God damn.

We need to adjust. He’s throwing everything down and away to our righty’s. Quit swinging at that shit.

yeah, you need more outta brantley on a 2-1 pitch with the bases jacked against a guy who's having trouble locating.

should've been 3-4 run lead, now it's 2-1.

indians had 16 homers all season leading into this series.  they have 4 in the last 13 innings.

Hell yes. Chirinos was on his horse there

Springer. George. You cannot defeat him. You can only hope to contain him.

did blum say kipnis was trying to hit the bull?

as in "look at that, he hit the fucking bull"?

sidenote, whatever frito pie thing he ordered sounded like ron swanson ordering a "#2" from paunchburger.  "#2 is right."

I think he meant this scene:

yeah, that's ^^^ exactly what i was thinking of, but you're right, "he hit the fucking bull" is actually from the homer he gives up.  "guy gets a free steak."

Quit.serving.up.homers.fuckheads.

What a weird outing for McHugh.  9 Ks in 5 2/3 but 3 of the 4 hits he gave up were bombs

I'm good not making any changes

Rondon seems like he sucks

We're not a really good team, names from 2017 don't hold up on 2019

Up to 9 lob with three 1-2-3 innings mixed in

even when he was hot it was like he wasn't really helping.  does he have an rbi yet this year?

he had a 2-0 pitch coming to him at some point tonight, and kalas was like, "he should see something good here..."  and i thought to myself. "so?"

whatever fear i had when pitching to someone crazy like gary sheffield waving his bat and looking like every swing was going 500 feet, i feel the exact opposite when i watch tyler white.  i would fear kemp more.

Would be pretty pleasantly surprised if it stays a one run game.

James needs to go to AAA
