So er... what’s tomorrow looking like. The perfect storm for us where Cole is back to Cole and the offense continues to click/fire off on all cylinders?

pretty close.  Last night was fairly comfortable though.

You mean 81 when we needed just 6 outs and had Nolan on the mound? [Face tic]

my job was to get us to 2-2.  you're on your own now.

although i almost called the yankees series after g1 as well.

I was there for games 1 and 6 in the ‘86 NLCS.  I’m glad kids of this generation will have their game 6 vs a NY team in the LCS moment be Jose Altuve’s incredible HR and going to the WS, instead of Kevin Bass chasing for strike 3.

It would be nice to get someone on and get Yordan an ab in the pitcher's spot

I'd proudly wear that title if one of my children would cooperate.

Yes, please.

Better throw by Soto tonight

i was 10 in 1986 and was behind home plate when kevin bass struck out.

Jesus, I was 10 in 1986 and I was there for Game 1.

urquidy 5 scoreless.

peacock + rondon 2 scoreless.

chirinos 2 xbh.

jake 2 hits.

the stars come out in the postseason.

That Davis HR landed about two rows in front of me in CF.

Negged

There was a day when Chirinos goes in like a freight train and makes Gomes hang on.  I hate to see injuries, but I do miss some of what baseball used to be.

still cannot believe they let us have homefield.  i mean, how did that happen?

if something like that happened these days people would be in the street lighting themselves on fire.

I was in attendance for Nolan’s fifth no hitter that year as a 13 year old.

I wouldn't start Alvarez tomorrow. Let's keep our defense the same

I'm with you. That left field could eat him up.

I like starting Yordan.  We need every chance to score off Scherzer and Gerrit K's such a high percentage that Yordan's potentially less of a liability in the field with Cole than with any other starter.  Let Yordan get 3 ABs then pinch run with Jake or double switch for defense if we're ahead.

Strike throwing Devo is best Devo.

encouraging to see Devo pitch well. I get there's a 7 run deficit, but still.

Strut, Devo, strut

And there's the other Devo...

Devo looked good at the end of the season
I had no issue adding him to the roster.

if the choice is devo or miley, that's an easy call.

Guys stepped up big time tonight.

Tough one tomorrow, Scherzer is filthy.
