May 17, 20241 yr So the the Gilmore family (not sure which ones) bought out the ground lease of the old iHOP on Bee Caves/MoPac and are turning it into an "All-Day Breakfast/Brunch" spot from 7a-11p. It's based on some model from Atlanta, can't remember the name. But they'll have a full liquor license (bloody mary's, micheladas, etc.) which should help them make their nut. Construction loan got approved so expect renovations to begin this summer. Be a race to see if they can open before Fajita Pete's down the road can get their grease trap inspected and approved.
May 18, 20241 yr Yeah, it's not great. but it's affordable for families moreso than other Tex-Mex in the area. I just throw 'em shout-outs on here because they've been really supportive of our school district (comped meals, discounts, coupons, etc.)
April 3Apr 3 Wahoo’s is opening in the Hudson on the Bend location. Kind of surprising since they already had 2 stores close in Austin. Close to my office and I always liked it though.

I get a craving every couple of months, and even though the ordering process hasn't always gone smoothly, that location has been pretty high quality overall. What's funny is they've ditched the idea of being completely digital and now all digital orders are delivered curbside (no more drive through, which kinda sucks), and you can now order at a walk-up window or at the drive through like every other fast food place.
