No, the Lyft execs don’t look smart.   To be fair, the entire market was crushed on Uber’s only 2 days

Oh there's no doubt.  I'm not defending Uber by any stretch.  I think it's a bloated company by any measure.  I'm just saying that LYFT is by no means in any decent position here, and that I'd prefer UBER stock over LYFT.

Do they??  I don’t see how they won’t/haven’t.  That company was bankrupt when they were trying to go public.
