May 25, 20232 yr For real. How exactly to the canneries buy crabs from boats who don't have a quota so that the market drops?
May 25, 20232 yr Regardless of anything else, it sure is fucking nice to never hear the surname Harris again.
May 31, 20232 yr It’s available ad free on MAX. New episodes air at same time as cable. This week’s shocking development: Mandy would rather sit around in her pajamas and watch Bluey instead of crab fishing on the Bering Sea.

June 2, 20232 yr Can’t imagine piping the cigs is helping ol’ boy’s heart a whole helluva lot either.
June 21, 20232 yr I’ve been a fan of Mandy in the past, but time for her to disappear. She contributes about as much as me. Saga is fucking cashing checks though.
June 21, 20232 yr Sig would have shit gold bricks if someone had moved his pots when he told them he didn't want to participate. Even tho they caught crab, I bet there's some backlash at the dock. Edited June 21, 20232 yr by Nole-4-Life

Jake is having a $5 million black cod season and the rest of the fleet is lucky to make $1 million, why aren’t they all fish black cod? I understand quota and Jake and Sean have it, but is there more to it than that?
June 30, 20232 yr ^ Well, there’s your cod action. ‘Bering Sea’ ship that transferred OJ looked suspiciously like the Cornelia. Hidden shit with the TB is just dumb. Hope ol’ girl Bob does well.
July 12, 20232 yr Don’t they have a chase/parts boat? The whole Jon screwed Keith thing feels staged. Keith handled it pretty diplomatically. Bob’s boat might be the most relaxed in the fleet. I believe it’s her, 3 brothers, and her boyfriend. Kind of a funny dynamic.

August 10, 20232 yr Was gonna say Bill & Harley had a bad stretch in this episode, then Keith’s boy tried to have a heart attack.
August 10, 20232 yr I hate that Jack dude. Wish Harley would throw him overboard. Can't believe I like Harley over anybody.
August 12, 20232 yr On Max, Ice Cold Catch, about Iceland Longline Cod Fishermen. It’s like the early seasons of DC, focused on the life of the fishermen. We watched several eps yesterday.
August 12, 20232 yr While I’m glad they kept the show going, it’s weird to watch them celebrate catching $100k worth of cod. I remember seasons where deckhands were taking home $100k during opie season.
August 12, 20232 yr I think they did it because it's filler money. Leave for the cod derby and send people home at a cost or make $40k and then do the final crab season of the year.

August 16, 20232 yr I probably wouldn't know just how flammable it was if we didn't have a pizza oven.
August 24, 20232 yr Kinda want that meal ol’ boy was cooking up on Bob’s boat before their power went out.
September 14, 20232 yr The ‘Perfect Storm’ old bag being with Bill is one of the dumber storylines from this show in awhile. Jake is a good ol’ boy.
September 14, 20232 yr If Wild Bill needed a part and Jake was in a time crunch, why didn't Jake tell him to drive over and pick it up while he continued to pull his string? Didn't understand that at all... Edited September 14, 20232 yr by Big Jake

Didn't understand that at all... TV production BS aside, Bill just put Jake on the crab when he was begging and crying, so turning around and telling Bill, "Sure come get it" would have been only slightly less dickish than lying and telling him he didn't have the part at all. Bill was the only reason he was in the middle of pulling pots at all.
September 14, 20232 yr And Jake was never making the kid's birthday anyway, shit worked perfectly for us idiots.
September 21, 20232 yr The odds of this being Johnathan’s last season are about the same as me quitting gin. And I like gin.

September 27, 20232 yr Lot of action for Bob & Jake in the finale. Seems weird there still isn’t a better offload technique than dudes jumping in the tank.
May 5, 20241 yr @shadow_operative2.0 will be there a Season 20? I haven’t seen a peep from Discovery that it’s in production.
May 5, 20241 yr This was from Rick in October, but not much on the googles since. Edited May 5, 20241 yr by shadow_operative2.0
May 5, 20241 yr The show needs a rework. It’s so predictable and it’s less fishing and more pranks and grabass.
