June 23, 20214 yr 30 minutes in, Harley calling Casey ‘Silver Spoon’ was funny. Battle of the Tridents!
June 25, 20214 yr Karma for Casey since he likes to be a bitch. John gonna save their ass though by stacking and setting for them
June 30, 20214 yr Fuck you Discovery for constantly forcing the extra hour of old-ass reruns on all shows, fucking horseshit. This episode could have been stretched if they needed that hour so badly.
July 8, 20214 yr Shocker. Keith bails at the smallest family emergency, and makes Mouse take the boat out for opies. Just admit to being old, in terrible shape, and you don’t like fishing opies.
July 8, 20214 yr I’m far from a Keith fan, but we don’t exactly know how ‘small’ the emergency was. Ol’ boy cameraman on the NW almost ended up in real bad shape when he kept his back to the rail. Edited July 8, 20214 yr by shadow_operative2.0 And my weekly Fuck You! for trying to force Bloodline on us, goddamnit.
July 21, 20214 yr That was a fun episode. They need to film the dinner that diver buys with Bill’s $.
July 21, 20214 yr Harley was playing the heel last season for tv. There's no way he's actually that big of an asshole, especially when he's working for Trident and doesn't own the boat. Edited July 21, 20214 yr by kevwun
August 4, 20214 yr So apparently Phillip, the quitter, is Neal’s kid. Weird daddy never showed on camera for that scene.
August 4, 20214 yr Got caught up a little on season last night. Josh's pure laziness just blows my mind. He's shown it many times in the past, but last night he's already down a hand, his deck boss goes down with a massive leg bruise and is shitting blood, and the rest of the deck group is struggling. His solution? Get off his ass and work on the deck? No. It's to go give the deck boss a rallying call that the team needs him on the field. Suck it up and get out there, man. What a jerk.

Thought the same thing. Josh has gone on the deck before, but now when they really need him, he's got his feet up. Also, on the previews for upcoming show it sure as shit looked like the Summer Bay rolling over in the surf. Couldn't be tho, right?
August 4, 20214 yr Yeah, it rolls way over, but I figure it pops back up just after the clip ends. Edited August 4, 20214 yr by kevwun
August 4, 20214 yr Just now, kevwun said: Yeah, itrolls way over, but I figure it pops back up just after the clip ends. Damn that boat looked like a goner.
August 12, 20214 yr Pretty good episode. Breakdowns early, crab late. As usual, Josh could give a fuck less about shit because now he has more phone time.
August 18, 20214 yr Sorry Monte, I don’t feel bad your shit is getting taken. That scalpel to the chest didn’t look real fun.
August 18, 20214 yr Yeah, I didn't get that. Jonathan basically saved Monte's ass with that part. Monte goes from grateful to disgusted in seconds after Hillstrand asks for a little help .
August 18, 20214 yr Pretty ho-hum season, but I'm glad everybody is staying safe. Nick's death was sad. RIP.
August 19, 20214 yr Yeah, I didn't get that. Jonathan basically saved Monte's ass with that part. Monte goes from grateful to disgusted in seconds after Hillstrand asks for a little help .That had to be reality tv manufactured drama. Surely there's no way Monte shits on Jonathan after Jonathan gives him a ram, right?

August 19, 20214 yr 10 hours ago, Wade said: Yeah, of course. Good call. Probably manufactured, but damn if I was Monte I'd say "listen, I don't want to look like a dickhead." Cause that was a dickhead move.
August 26, 20214 yr Mandy makes me laugh, she doesn’t do shit besides sit in that little chair behind dad.

September 8, 20214 yr No red kind crab season next year - fishery is closed. Wonder if that kills this (shitty) show finally https://fishermensnews.com/bristol-bay-red-king-crab-fishery-closed-for-2021-22/

September 22, 20214 yr Thought Wild Bill was going to buy the farm there. Damn. Yeah. That was about as close as you can get. Crazy.
September 22, 20214 yr They've been teasing that the whole season and I could never figure out how the hell he ended up sideways. Seems like the Harbor Master should have closed it down before that. He almost got those guys killed.

September 23, 20214 yr Imagine death by crushing in the middle of fucking nowhere. Still astounding how much the Wizard catches every season.
September 24, 20214 yr Not reading posts above, as I am watching now and Bill is trying to abort the harbor entry and gets sideways. Cut to commercial. Fuuuu….

It’s up to the Captain to assess the situation and make decisions accordingly. There was no reason to risk everyone’s lives right there. Bill was way too much of a cowboy there.

September 24, 20214 yr Yeah turning broadside to those waves wasn't the smartest move. Probably would have been better off just riding on into the harbor.
September 24, 20214 yr I was shocked he turned broadside. For all the made up bullshit drama on this show, that was real as hell. He almost killed everybody on that boat. I want to see more onboard camera footage of that event. Edited September 24, 20214 yr by Lat22
September 24, 20214 yr I don't think he had much steering capability because of the size of the waves and the harbor entrance is very narrow there. He had to try to ride one in, but if the waves are pushing you forward so fast that the propeller can't bite, the rudder is pretty useless. He shouldn't have tried it and the harbor should have been closed I think. Edited September 24, 20214 yr by kevwun
September 27, 20214 yr That reminded me of shooting through the boat cut on the north Galveston jetty in my Pathfinder. OK. Maybe not exactly.
September 29, 20214 yr The episode about Sig and Mandy was interesting but Sig is such a dick headed asshole motherfucker. Mandy goes to Jake and asks for advice and Sig raises hell at Jake for giving her advice. Hey...she asked me motherfucker...why don't you talk to her? Sig went down a few notches for me. Edited September 29, 20214 yr by Nole-4-Life

It was all acting. And terrible acting at that might I add. I FF'd through most of it. Harley got the evil edit last year - remember him "checking" other pots? Yeah, that's not happening in real life. I assume the only real things on this show are the waves. The editing is so wonky I don't even think strings are shown in order.
