June 7, 20196 yr Um, Edgar will NEVER be back on camera. He stuck his hand where he never should on a young girl. Edgar is lucky he’s not in prison.
June 7, 20196 yr I meant that Sig and the crew might not want him back on the boat even if there was no tv show. Sig has daughters and it probably doesn't sit real well with the crew either. Edited June 7, 20196 yr by kevwun

June 12, 20196 yr I wonder what the rest of the TV fleet thinks about Harley spot checking their pots?

June 12, 20196 yr I am betting he's not the only captain who checks other boats' pots to figure out where the crab are. I also bet they don't talk about it when they do it. He's such an asshole that he doesn't care. Edited June 12, 20196 yr by kevwun
June 12, 20196 yr Not necessarily the tv boats, but the rest of the fleet. When you are desperate to catch crab and the only boat around, I have no doubt they give in to the temptation to check someone else's pots to see what's in the area. Edited June 12, 20196 yr by kevwun
June 12, 20196 yr Author I'm sure it's easy to spot some guy checking your pots on radar and there are asswhippings when they reach port if not sooner. I really didn't care one way or they other about Harley before, but he's proven to be a dick as advertised. Was surprised the patch on Wizard was so easy. I expected it to be much worse.
June 13, 20196 yr Keith sarcastically remarked one pot wasn’t even enough for dinner. Do crews ever treat themselves to their own catch, especially King?
June 19, 20196 yr Sure wish Brady wasn’t related to Harley so he could be on a different boat. Ol’ Jake seems to be doing well.
June 26, 20196 yr Digging these non-NW episodes lately. Dude fixing the cable on the CM did not look fun.
June 27, 20196 yr I feel like such a pussy when I don't want to run out to the jetties because it's a bit windy.

July 3, 20196 yr Author I remember the episode when Destination went down and Sig was pretty shaken by it. Didn't know they were that close and the ships were nearly identical. That was a nice Rolex Sig was sporting, too.
July 3, 20196 yr They really had to stretch to fill 42 minutes with all the coulda beens and flashbacks, but the findings made sense. I’m surprised that they didn’t pay more attention to pot weight, as vigilant as they are about having a tall stack or an iced stack in high seas, but rather trusted a max pot # instead of a max weight.
July 10, 20196 yr Damn, sure was fucking nice to be Sig-less for a few weeks. That CM dude tried to get his dome rearranged.
July 10, 20196 yr And then of course right after I post that, Sig gets some really shitty news at the end.
July 12, 20196 yr I’m gonna threadjack for a minute because I think a lot of you watch a # of similar reality shows also. I honestly didn’t know Gabe Rygaard of Ax Men died. New season started tonight, first I heard of it. Fuck, that sucks.
July 17, 20196 yr Yeah, there's no one on board he can let run the boat by themselves. Does Matt only do kings now or is he off the boat?
July 17, 20196 yr One would think Norm (minus the whole head injury thing) could step in, but I don’t think we’ve ever seen him at the helm for any reason.
July 17, 20196 yr I'm sure he's capable of driving the boat, but yeah they've never shown him doing anything in the wheelhouse when it comes to setting pots and running the boat while fishing. Edited July 17, 20196 yr by kevwun
July 25, 20196 yr Wild Bill finally having a damn good season. The Vienna sausage snack next to Freddy’s finger prick was interesting. Edited July 25, 20196 yr by spystud13
August 23, 20196 yr Damn, I like Mandy more each episode. Ol’ Sig ain’t gonna like it when she gets knocked up.

October 3, 20196 yr Any of you kids watch Bering Sea Gold? Certainly ain’t worth its own thread, holler if anyone cares.
April 7, 20205 yr New season officially premieres next Tuesday (the 14th), but there’s 3 hours of filler tomorrow night at 7 to get everyone caught up.
April 7, 20205 yr Are you talking about the tuna fishing show in Hawaii that Jake is doing? I think it premiers next week.
April 7, 20205 yr Jake Harris got 18 months in August, not sure when he would have filmed. https://www.countryliving.com/life/entertainment/a28830984/deadliest-catch-jake-harris-prison-18-months/
April 7, 20205 yr Guess it’s this. 5 episodes available On Demand on Direct, no upcoming TV airings. https://www.tvshowsace.com/2020/03/27/deadliest-catch-bloodlines-josh-harris-follows-captain-phils-secret-hawaiian-fishing-spots/
April 7, 20205 yr Yeah that. Saw it on the disco app but it just didn’t seem interesting in the least.
April 7, 20205 yr Looks like Discovery is just gonna do the 3-hour block every week, forcing you to record it all. Then they’ll throw the Harris shit in the last hour.
April 7, 20205 yr Meant Josh not Jake, sorry. They do the same thing with Gold Rush. It's better than the constantly changing series titles that makes my dvr miss episodes at least.
April 15, 20205 yr Author Season opener tonight. "The Legend" is back and I'm not talking about Jonathan Hillstrand (but he's back, too).
April 15, 20205 yr I’ll watch later, but hope to never see another fucking Bloodline commercial with Josh calling his dad a legend. I have seen that shit about 40 different times recently since Discovery owns half the cable channel lineup. Phil is only ‘legendary’ for dying.
April 15, 20205 yr Holy shit that Harley Davidson is a douchebag. Needs an ass whipping.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
April 16, 20205 yr Holy shit that Harley Davidson is a douchebag. Needs an ass whipping.Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYeah, someone needs to kick his ass, repeatedly. If someone pulled my gear, I'd punch him right in the nose. Between checking pots and setting people down, that's crossing the line, IMO.Jonathan's solution works, too. Sink every set of bags you find and make the douche think his zincs don't work.
