the fact that pool burger is in the bracket renders the entire thing a sad joke.

Anyone had Funky Brunch by Burger Center yet? Menu looks good.

Yep. Some things great, some things meh. Very good place to drink with eating as the secondary activity.

The same group which owned the Italian restaurant in Davenport Village for years recently opened a new restaurant called It’s Italian Cuisine on South Lamar.

I’ve been twice, once for for brunch and once for dinner and it’s solid.  Very good wine selection too.

Went to Juliete for Easter Brunch. Solid meal. I think it would be a better brunch place than dinner.

Anyone try Guild yet?

I'll answer my own question.  Went there last night with Mrs. South Austin and our 7-year-old boy in tow for an early dinner, and it was pretty fantastic.  Highly recommend the hamachi and halibut.  Our kid actually tried his first raw oyster and liked it.

Anyone been to Kemuri Tatsu-ya yet?

Went a while back and enjoyed everything we had. Did not try the ramen since we figured I would just get that at Tatsuya. Good whiskey selection as well.
