Pierce basically saying ”let the kids play” and I’m all here for it.

Does that also say something about Phil Haig who usually calls pitches from the dugout?

Why yes, yes it does...

I knew the inference .. but, some asswipe would have accused me of being a disloyal fan had I been declarative rather than wrapping my point inside a question.

The results we’ve seen with the Texas pitching staff screams volumes about Haig (or whomever is the responsible coach).

I guess this will read as a defense of haig, which it’s not meant to be, but I can understand that a pitcher throwing the pitch he wants instead of the pitch he’s told to throw might have a little more commitment behind it.

Damn good decision by Pierce.

And well done Kam.  Keep that shit up.

Haig catches too much grief on Surly..... Pierce is heavily involved in coaching the pitchers too.  Based on the current arms on this roster, a record of 21-13 is a pretty good result thus far.

March was a brutal gauntlet to go through.... really hope to see this pitching staff continue to improve over the several weeks.

I can't keep most of these young pitchers straight....... What do folks think about this pitching staff besides Kam, Henley and Elder??

This broadcast looks blurry to me. Am I drunk?

On the fox sports app it is pretty clear

This broadcast makes me feel like im playing a video game

Shitty comentators

blurry players

horrible camera angles/work

Baylors pitcher getting pulled 12 min into the game, without recording a single out

lollll

Karma for Queso... bitches

Pour it on Texas.  Make the Baylor fans cover their kids eyes.

Cover their kids eyes? Nah. They’ll just use this as an example. The players are revealing too much skin. They’re just asking for this.

McCann now 0-10 on the weekend. Batting like .180 on the season or some shit

Maybe our pitchers can bat and we can DH for him.

Hard to be upset with a 4 run first, but damn. It could have been more.

Damn. I feel like 4 is a little lucky for the rapers. Should have had 6-7 there. Even this second kid is kind of wild. Got lucky coming in to face Bert and boat anchor McCann.

Bags loaded up 4-0 and no outs....and next two batters strike out and Ellis grounds out to 1B.  What a waste.  Should'a could'a would'a could come back to haunt us.  I sure don't feel good about a 4 run lead in the 1st inning.

yeah would have been nice to get 2 more out of that.  Bert has to do better with no outs

Better than the 5 run deficit we had yesterday

We do get to bat again
