A matchup of two cities where weed is legal and the teams are named the Blazers and the Nuggets?  Count me in.

Nothing like a game 7 to set basketball back 15 years.

Try 50.

Gotta have players who can get buckets in crunch time. Spurs have a couple; time for the Nuggets' shot-makers to step up.

What the actual fuck, Spurs?

Did the Spurs just fucking give up? What the fuck?!

It appears they did.

Pop should retire after that.

He’s gotta be wine drunk. What a fucking clown.

Watching the highlights on the postgame show, Pop was clearly telling them to foul. The players went into zombie mode for some reason.

Theres 5 guys out there. Pro basketball players all paid millions.

Situational, or even common sense awareness among all 5 is the worst you can get. Not a single one of them thought about being down 4 and even getting a stop, the chances of getting  a 4 point play under 4 seconds is less than .001%

How all 5 guys not knew what to do about something thats probably taught in Jr High when they start keeping score/time...inexcuseable. Pop couldve been waving his arm to get up  and foul...and maybe he was in shock by the dumbfuckery that he just gave up

After those last 30 seconds, don't tell me how smart the Spurs are and how much higher their BB IQ is from everyone else.

Spurs haven't been smart since Duncan retired.

seriously.  how a pro basketball player would need their coach to tell them to foul in that situation is beyond me.  i'm 4 beers in and was half paying attention and even i was shocked when they didn't immediately foul joker on the rebound.

I think it was either Derozan or Gay, but whoever was in the lower right corner of the tv was pointing to go foul. However he didn't want to leave his man to do it.

I tend to agree with you.  Just one of these guys has played more basketball than everyone on Surly cumulatively.  They should know what to do.  Then again, this is a coaching staff that benched Tim Duncan in a Finals game (twice) when we needed one rebound to win a championship.

The NBA is less enjoyable with all of the touch fouls in the playoffs.

I long for the days of "No layups in the playoffs".

I just looked at the game stats for Houston in game 1 v Warriors. Is it normal this season for Houston to shoot 20 more 3s per game than 2s?

Also, do the rockets ever do anything besides the Hardin iso on offense?

I don’t watch a lot of regular season games, so, sort of, yes.

For me, yes. Also don’t watch much regular season.

I mean, I was aware, but damn.

This Den/Por series might be way more fun than I thought going in.

So is James Harden starting to show fatigue in playoffs again due to his overuse during the regular season??

Nah, his labia are just more exposed.

Man how good can the Nuggets really get if Joker gets himself in better shape? He’s incredible now but if he slums down and gets a bit quicker it improves their defense massively.

If Curry is out for extended time Durant is going to go 2016 LeBron on this playoffs
