We should all teach our children the following very valuable lessons: 1. when you are unhappy or want to be somewhere else, you should fake the severity of an injury and then go through 11 doctor

  • No, we want them to be consistent and not be hypocrites. I would prefer that they shut up and dribble, shoot, pitch, hit, tackle or kick but if you are going to be “woke”, don’t stop being woke only

this is the craziest offseason in NBA history by a country mile. just insane. so much more than i had anticipated or hoped for. i've never looked forward to an NBA regular season more than I am this upcoming one. wow. all i can say is wow.

I don't really get this trade. Do the Rockets expect Westbrook to take them further than Harden? Also, both Harden and Westbrook are ball dominant players. Going to be tons of just standing around watching them 2 Chuck a lot of shots.

Imagine trading what in essence could be 4 first round picks and an equivalent player for a player everyone knows will decline quickly. Couldn’t be me.

I thought morey said CP3 and Harden were fine lol.

On a serious note, what a crazy trade. Not sure that it makes them better, at all, but man. This fucking league.

Not sure Westbrook contract but for me I think getting rid of the cp3 albatross contract is worth it and Westbrook is younger and definitely more trade able if it’s not working than cp3 ever was.

Maybe now Westbrook will develop a high BB IQ and learn to play off the ball and...………...🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sorry, couldn't get through it.

Westbrook's contract is worse than Paul's, I don't see how this works at all, but Russ and James are friends more than Paul and Harden. I think for the next 2 years, the Rockets are better because Russ is better than Paul right now, but after that the Rockets are done with Harden and Westbrook making over $80M combined.

Well he’s younger and more tradeable than Paul.

Do they have the same amount of years? Maybe presti is planning on dumping Paul in a year or two with a pick or two?

That's debatable.  It goes a year long but Paul is older at this point.  They're both equally bad.  OKC got Houston to take on a longer contract and got draft picks to do it.

Wow.

Credit him for doing well in the trades, but he's really not been  competent in building a team that won anything.

Presti is great at managing star contracts but his major weakness is the supporting cast.  They've been terrible most years.

I was busting presti for the team building but with 13 first round picks you have to think at least 2 become all star level right?

What? He is in luxury tax hell.

Chris Paul is the biggest asshole in the nba on the court. Sending him to OKC is the funniest shit on earth. Well played morey.. congrats Houston fans. You no longer have to pretend to like cp3

No... now they have to pretend to like Westbrook's game.

But now we must pretend to like Russ.

Younger doesn’t mean more tradable per se.

Is there a place where I can place a wager on Westbrook/Harden trying to murder each other this season?

Not sure what this had to do with the Thunder luxury tax repeater status.

Holy fuck. I get that Russ has his issues, but this is some straight bullshit right here. I mean this is the same GM duo that brought us the Harden trade, how did that work out for the Thunder?

OKC better win a title by 2030, hopefully in Seattle.. Wouldn't that be a killer for the Okies.

It took taking on the 2nd worst contract in the league, but Presti got some first round picks for Russ. Not bad. Also, fuck Chris Paul. Enjoy irrelevance and never making an NBA Finals.

They got picks and an eventually expiring contract, which they’ll be able to deal.

Yeah, OKC May have mailed it in, but they’ll be able to trade and draft their way into a good situation.

At this stage in their careers, I don’t see how Russ & Beard mesh.

Then watch it fall apart.
