February 10, 20223 yr I frequent the bourbon thread but need to get off that and diversify. My bourbon needs a less volatile buddy. Hello!

It was still going strong and showing no signs of decline. Aubert makes some of the best Chardonnay, in my opinion, and this one was near the top of the list of the ones I’ve had. We had a 2008 Lauren vineyard not too long ago that was also amazingly bright and youthful. I would imagine at least another 10 years or more before they start going downhill. On a different note, I had a 2002 Marcassin a little while back that was probably the best California Chardonnay I’ve ever had. Long story short, the quality California Chardonnays are definitely worth the money and can stand the test of time. Edited May 13, 20223 yr by b_p
May 15, 20223 yr I hope those were patiently waiting in your cellar and you didn’t have to pay current market prices. Look forward to your thoughts on both.
May 16, 20223 yr Frenchtown Farms, imo one of the most exciting producers in America right now. Snatch up any of this that gets to Texas.
