Is there a way that insurance can pay for LASIK surgery or is it 100% of the time considered cosmetic and out of pocket.

Has anyone experienced this or done this? Does it matter how "good" your insurance is, for a lack of a better word?

My insurance pays a portion, but it’s gotta be one of their approved doctors. I’m not sure how I feel about not getting to pick the person burning my eyeballs.

I did it, paid for it myself. Didn't check to see if insurance would help, because I am a dumbass, a good-seein' dumbass.

Get a sort of mean OCD doctor who lets you have lots of valium, then stare at the dot.
