New guy for Austin.

Scouting for those that care.

Very Spursian.  Skilled forward who's athletic limitations may force him to play stretch 4 if he wants to make it in the league.

Tony deserves more love. True, Timmeh and Manu are closer to my heart, but can't think of one without the other two coming to mind. Fuck, man. Sad day. We were spoiled to have them for so long, y

I’ve been watching it. Earlier they had a 2006 first round game against Sacramento on.

I flipped it on about 30 minutes in and hit record. My wife wasn't all that interested in watching it. I also saw the last 15 seconds of Game 7 in 2005. I was in the house that night -- pretty bad ass moment. That entire fourth quarter was insane. I went to the game with two of my best buddies and my ex-wife. Both buddies have tragically passed.

I hope none of the other people in that picture are his wife, but good for him (for the marriage and being a nice guy).

It’s Australian for baller.

I thought he went by bala cuz he wasn't no hupa.

Hupa, south southeast if ya please...

The disapproving look for the interracial couple from the two crackers in the back is priceless.

That’s a same sex couple wondering what he sees in her.

I saw Patty and the lady friend a few times at the bar inside Whole Foods on Blanco. They are both good people. Would be better people if he could still shoot though.

We're screwed.

And I watched the last quarter of game 6 against NJ in 2003 last night on NBATV.  I forgot we were down 10 in the 4th quarter, and then went on a 17-0 or 19-0 run to put it away.  It was cool seeing Kevin Willis and Steve Smith get playing time at the end.  I got teary-eyed (again) watching Robinson jumping for joy, having "the best last day of work anyone's ever had."

Daang.   Duncan with the almost quadruple double (20 rebounds, wtf?)  Drob with 17 rebounds.  Looking back at the scores for that series, Jesus several games in the 70s.  None had both teams score in the 90s

Derrick White apparently graduated from the Select (JV) team to the varsity Team USA before the World Cup, in only a few days of practice. JVG singing his praises. I am gruntled.

Defense is solid. Jump shot and capitalization techniques are questionable.

Reportedly he's been tearing it up in practices.  Has really played well.  Excited to see what he, Murray, and Lonnie can do eventually.

Allegedly, Murray had to see like 9 doctors .  The first 8 wouldn't clear him.

Is this like a reverse Kawhi joke?  Im still way too bitter.

Looks like all the back to backs are with a travel day, except 1, plus a Clippers/Lakers b2b.

The last 13-14 games could be fucking brutal.  Better hope for some weird shit going down or we'll be facing 9 probably playoff teams with the Cans and Kings, who may be battling with us for a lower seed, as the other 4 including 2 B2Bs.

The 2nd weekend is bullshit too with a B2B at LAC and GS and then Sunday with the Lakers.

We have nothing to lose. Pop is like 80 years old. Just sign him and let's blast off to Boogieland.

And I'm not even drunk yet.

Damn... looks like Boogieland might be shut down this season.

Your post made me go back and look that game up. Takeaways:

  • We outscored them 31-14 in the fourth quarter
  • Nets were stuck on 72 points from 8:55 until 3:21 left in the game
  • Spurs fashioned 19-0 run during that time to flip 72-63 deficit into 82-72 lead
  • Kenyon Martin was 3-for-23 from the field
  • Dikembe Mutombo was on that Nets team? Man, I'd forgotten that!

I remember the closeout Game 6 in the WCF series against the Mavs that year when Steve Kerr went nuts at AAC. Checked that box and we outscored the Mavs 34-9 in that fourth quarter. Mavericks scored five points in the first 11+ minutes of the fourth quarter. It was a 34-5 run by the Spurs.

SAN ANTONIO — Not only did the San Antonio Spurs' greatest trio - Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili - welcome French female team Lyon Basket to San Antonio, Duncan, and Parker also gave the women the basketball game of a lifetime.

The Spurs greats laced up their sneakers and came out of basketball retirement for a pickup game against the women.

And from the looks of the video, Parker and Duncan look like they can put on their Spurs jerseys for another season.
