Sloane had match point on serve. Lost it. Lost the set. Playing 3

Looks like she'll be fine. Up 5-4 with the match on her serve, she was up 4-0 at one point

i'm gonna go out on a limb and just guess that the guy that won 11 of the last 14 of these is going to win it again.

Serena's down a set and a break to Sophia Kenin...

Seems like Serena comes back to win those matches (being down a set and a break) 70% of the time

Zero fucking chance Serena plays 3 matches to get to Barty.

Svitolina should never be considered a factor at a Slam, she absolutely cannot win 7 matches.

Aryna is not a contender right now. Won 3 matches in Strasbourg to get her record to a blistering 8-8 since Fed Cup in February. She ain’t winning 7 on clay.

Damn.

Anisimova is through to the 4th, as is #140th-ranked Aliona Bolsova, a 21-year old from Spain I don’t recall ever seeing before.

This is a pretty goddamn big deal.

To lose your entire paycheck based on a chair’s decision, that ain’t no shit. They changed the rules about hurt players stealing $ in R1, this is a fucking stand. I’m with it.

Tsitsipas up a break in the 5th set against Wawrinka, who's fighting to stay in it. Been a great match so far.

Edit: spoke too soon, call was overruled and Wawrinka then saved all three BPs O_O

That's SEVEN break points saved by Stan in this set alone!

edit: make that 8!

Hawkeye showed it in, by the slimmest of margins. The shape Stan put on that shot was unreal, Tsitsipas was totally fooled.

Looks like Nadal will also get the benefit of a tired opponent in his quarterfinal match.
