  • Totally unrelated to anything in here, but there’s really no where else to post it, and I wanted to share this with some folks who love Liverpool F.C. My wife & I were in England last month for tw

  • In my Facebook memories today, a bit of interesting coincidence. Two years ago today, @Jive Turkey and I made the pilgrimage to Anfield to see LIverpool take on...West Ham. 4-1 that day. Hopefully 4-0

He ran 26km in the 2 games last week.

They looked sleepy the first half but have certainly turned it on this half. Amazing fitness for some of these guys who played 120 minutes a few days ago.

Sadio is all over the place. Nice to see him already well dialed in.

Seriously that deserved a finish

that's it.   i'm going full-parcells again this year for the horns.   i will not buy in and celebrate one fucking thing until the final whistle blows or the clock hits zeros.

thank you pool for this warning.

We were literally dribbling the clock out prior to that fuck up.  Now we’re shitting our pants for the last 10 minutes.

i liked the 4th and 5th roll.  temporary gravity inversion.

well done.

Spanish Migs giving me heartburn today.

Iffy till the end but the kill in the last 6 was pretty good.

The defense as a whole hasn't been quite right yet. Certainly not up to last year's level.

Well we will not have to concern ourselves with the clean sheet record this year....got the 3 and thsts all that matters

i think the defense was fine for the most part.  there were several pieces of bad luck and several other close calls adjudicated in our favor by the soccer gods.

here's the difference between city and pool.

pool have 10 games like this every season.

city annihilate those same opponents in the first 30 minutes, and only have 2 or at most 3 non-big-6 scrapes in the campaign.

Reminds me of Alisson's howler at the beginning of last season

That was the plan. Get it out of the way and wake the fuck up.

Right?

Match against Arsenal will be a top of the table clash. Nice.

Nice that it's at Fortress Anfield.

Think how big the aston villa game will be with the 7CL wins between them

All quiet on the training front.

Big news about the Afield Road stand expansion.

And with that hug, all talk about "But Liverpool haven't won anything" faded into history...

Ox got a new deal

Edited by mdmost

I know shaq has been a little miffed about playing time. So hope he doesnt get upset by OX deal.

Hopefully Klopp is letting him know he can still get 20 or so starts between CL,FA cup and bottom tier EPl clubs even with team at full strength

We are going to need to stay fresh with our players not getting much of a rest this summer
