  • Totally unrelated to anything in here, but there’s really no where else to post it, and I wanted to share this with some folks who love Liverpool F.C. My wife & I were in England last month for tw

  • In my Facebook memories today, a bit of interesting coincidence. Two years ago today, @Jive Turkey and I made the pilgrimage to Anfield to see LIverpool take on...West Ham. 4-1 that day. Hopefully 4-0

Believe that was the 2nd passback that he had to make a quick move on.

TAA needs to be quicker to close out. Entirely too much time on the ball on the left

City really trying to penalty their way to an equalizer.

That was a lot of fun. Nice way to go into the International Break.

Ha ha. Pep is such a bitch.

No Kop interaction from Klopp?

I don't know the back story but he won't do it in front of the camera. He started trying to wave off the camera a few weeks ago.

Im going check the standings everyday during break just so i can see city in 4th

Ha, Klopp on with with the announcers, "I thought I was banned after using the words last time", referencing when he cursed on the air last time.

Going into the international break up 9 points on City, in fucking November. Unreal.

Then I remember that we were up 10 points at Christmas last year and tap the brakes a bit. This year feels different but City is not going to give up.

Huge match for our Midfield. All three of them played 10/10 matches and kept City from controlling the game.

I'm going to stare at the Table a few more times but it's only November. So much football to play...

Up ten points but City had a game in hand so it was really 7. We've also played United and beaten Chelsea and Leicester all of whom City haven't played yet. I still think this team is on a mission after losing the league so closely last year.

I can't believe we don't get to see Liverpool again for two more weeks but then again it gives me lots of time to keep refreshing the table to see us clear by 8 points in City in fourth

Salah was picked for Egypt(I think), but hope he can sit out.

Have to say, my first attempt at recording a game and watching it later wasn't all bad.  Kid and I turned off our phones at 10:15 when we got to the game and it was BRUTAL, but manageable.  Was excited to watch it with him and we both went ape*&%# at the first two goals.  I was stressed, but we were playing so well I never got too stressed.  Loved the bit with Gomez and Sterling.

That Fabinho goal....

Saw a tweet from LFC showing it hit the net from behind the goal and it's astounding.  Someone needs to link it and tell me the easiest way to embed them.

On the bottom right of tweets there is a little up arrow that says “share tweet”. Select the “share tweet via” option and then select “copy link”.

Paste the link on here and wait a second for it to load before you hit submit reply.

Here’s why I think it is different (also, city’s frail back line this season)

My way to early prediction: I worry more about Chelsea and The Foxes this year because of what is posted above.

Seems like a good squad player on the cheap. Have to assume Shaq is on his way out in one of the next 2 windows.

Also,

anything from talk sport needs to be taken with a bucketful of salt.

Pearce is saying it's not true but I'm not sure how much of a mouthpiece he is for the club now since he moved to the Athletic.

It wouldn't shock me though that Klopp would like to move Shaq out. He's never healthy and sadly doesn't provide a lot when he's out there. Actually, has he even been out there yet this season?

I think he'll have to but you never know. Fucking international football.

No way we sign Fraser. He's a nice player for a club like Bournemouth but is no better than Shaqiri. Not even sure he's better than Harry Wilson tbh.

We did get away with a lot of shoving on Sunday. Both TAA and Andy got away with some extra shoves on Sterling and the other forward as both were going out of bounds. But hey, according to some, we get all the calls so I guess that's how it goes for now. Ride the good luck while we have it, I guess.

I remember the game in January being chippy as hell with bernanrdo silva getting away with a few yellow card tackles. I think unless the ref starts throwing cards around early that as long as it’s called the same way for both teams I’m fine with it. Atkinson did a terrible job of this in the United game.

They have last year's championship in large part because an obvious red wasn't given to Kompany. The notion we're catching breaks is the stuff of fairy tales.
