Why did we play Leicester again before playing Wolves once? I thought the season was divided up into halves. Is there anyone else we haven't played yet besides West Ham this season?

  • Totally unrelated to anything in here, but there’s really no where else to post it, and I wanted to share this with some folks who love Liverpool F.C. My wife & I were in England last month for tw

  • In my Facebook memories today, a bit of interesting coincidence. Two years ago today, @Jive Turkey and I made the pilgrimage to Anfield to see LIverpool take on...West Ham. 4-1 that day. Hopefully 4-0

Probably just a scheduling quirk since its towards end/beginning of the halfs....but yeah only teams we havent played are wolves and west ham but we will be done with wolves after 2 meetings in January.

While typing i realized it was probably a $$$ thing as they would rather have reds v foxes on boxing day over wolves.

Let's finish 2019 with a bang.

New Balance better rush this out because it will be their last good cash grab.

surprised both bobby & mo starting.  would have expected at least one to be held in reserve.

klopp is full steam ahead.  please no injuries.  please early goals and a walkabout.

destination 110th street.

I was not a fan at first but that badge looks pretty nice.

That's a shoulder, Anthony. I know it's hard for you given you have to overcome looking like a penis.

LiVARpool!!!!

VAR overcoming idiotic refereeing since 2019.

Oh my. Now that's ridiculous if VAR takes that away.

He just might be offside. Yikes.

Edit: Let me rephrase. VAR will say he's offside, but that's pretty ridiculous.

Nice that the call went in our favor but that was ridiculous. Now we're breaking down goals like it's the Zapruder film

Shew. That was a stressful final 20 mins. At the end of the day, though, that's 55 out of 57 points.

Tough game, wolves probably had us if they could ever get the ball down ...but we survived and now 50 in a row unbeaten at anfield

Klopp lost one game in the Premiership in 2019 and that was January 3rd at Man City. 37 wins, 5 draws, 98 points. Simply amazing. Oh and that whole winning the Champions League. That was nice too.

Taking a look at our upcoming fixtures, and ON PAPER if we can get through January, Feb/Mar look to lighten up a little ON PAPER.

We used to say that about Cup finals(prior to the CL/SC/CWC) , so hopefully it will be a similar conversation.

January has been Klopp's Achilles heel since arriving.

He went 2-1-1 in January 2019. 2-2-1 if you want to include the FA Cup loss to the Wolves.

That really hasn't been the case since January 2017. January 2018 he went 3-1-0 and split a win and loss in the FA Cup.

Maybe I'm confusing December and January. If so then fuck it boys let's break out the moonshine.

It's weird that things have been going so well, it's hard to remember when things were really shaky for Klopp. It really speaks to what he's been building at Melwood. The only downside of last year was dropping point in the latter half. We had 4 draws after the new year which ultimately was the difference in losing the lead to City, from January to March. That March 3rd match against Everton was the final time we dropped points. After that it was 10 wins to close out the season and 5 Champions League matches won. This was a great year. Ready to see what 2020 holds for the Reds.

Horny! When are we thinking he's fit to appear? Everton?

We had the 3rd most ever points in a premier league season last year. Unfortunately City won their last 14 games and 18 out of their last 19 and had the 2nd most ever points in a season.

That's a strong lineup. I wonder if he rests everyone vs. Everton in the FA cup

Wouldn't surprise me if we see some kids in that match

Minamino, hopefully.

Pretty sure that changes the strategy.  Milner's versatile, but he's not Baby Keith.

much appreciated!

Soccer needs to adopt the hockey assist. There are a lot of goals that are really created from that originating pass to the assisting player.
