A Big 10 Days

Here’s a thing.

Liverpool play three Premier League games before Manchester City are next in action.

After tonight at Wolves comes a trip to West Ham United on Wednesday and a home game with Southampton three days later.

Win all those, and Liverpool will be 22 points clear of City having played a game more. City are at Tottenham the following day, so hardly a gimme.

This could be a big 10 days in the Premier League title race.

lol. What title race?

  • Totally unrelated to anything in here, but there’s really no where else to post it, and I wanted to share this with some folks who love Liverpool F.C. My wife & I were in England last month for tw

  • In my Facebook memories today, a bit of interesting coincidence. Two years ago today, @Jive Turkey and I made the pilgrimage to Anfield to see LIverpool take on...West Ham. 4-1 that day. Hopefully 4-0

Believe he said just a muscle strain nothing to serious....

Minamino, Origi, lallana, Shaq(healthy??), milner and the kids should be more than enough

Even when we B team, it's just not fair.

Curtis Jones really knows how to make these appearances count.

Adrian stayed home and made a nice save. What a great option to have in relief.

Adrian is MoM so far

Bad penalty by Larouci. 2-1 and life for Shrewsbury.

WTF....just checked back in after grabbing lunch

The Shrewsbury faithful never thought they'd see Mo Salah on the pitch today.

Come on MO...hopefully he can just boss on them

So all our centerbacks are Jeff Agoos level if they aren’t paired with VVD.

Shrewsbury fans get to see Bobby too. Talk about bang for your buck.

Almost. Ha. This is so stupid.

Oh vomit. When does this dumb replay happen?

Props to Shrewsbury....guess we'll get'em on the replay

Quiet you or we'll have to purchase another one of your best players.

Meh, replay doesn’t bother me. All of the guys that started today could use more minutes. Shaq and Keita and Milner as well.

Ha! Well, y’all can sniff around next Saturday. That is if you don’t beat them 9-0.

Got any good Lallana replacements?

Ha! Lallana would be the best player on Southampton’s squad.

lol. I Love this man. CL and the league are all that matter. C.R.E.A.M.

Those guys playing at home may pull it off.

I'm not a Liverpool fan but I don't understand not going for the treble.  That's still special to me.  It's not like he can't start working in the B team during league games

Liverpool haven't won the English title since the inception of the Premiership. His only focus is winning the EPL. Games against Shrewsbury for his starters is a recipe for needless injury. His B team should've been enough today. I'm fine with focusing on the one trophy they've never won.

You looked at the standings lately?

You looked at Liverpool's history of bottling the league? If Klopp is fine with doing things a certain way then say no more. He's earned the ability to run the club as he sees fit.

When would Liverpool be presented with the Premier League trophy?

Cross your fingers, pray, touch wood, get your lucky rabbit’s foot out - whatever it is you have to do, it looks like Liverpool will win the Premier League this season.

And barring the worst of collapses, they’re going to win it with a fair few games to spare.

But the Reds will have to wait to lift the trophy until until their final home game of the season against Chelsea on May 9 report the Athletic .

maninblack, it'd be a shame to have to kill you now.

News (good news imo) is that Mane will be out against West Ham and Southampton, but should be back after that.

More time for Minamino? Or does Origi get the nod?

Origi. Minamino isn't ready yet. He needs to learn the system better.

Have to think this is as strong a lineup as we have for the next two games.
