  • Totally unrelated to anything in here, but there’s really no where else to post it, and I wanted to share this with some folks who love Liverpool F.C. My wife & I were in England last month for tw

  • In my Facebook memories today, a bit of interesting coincidence. Two years ago today, @Jive Turkey and I made the pilgrimage to Anfield to see LIverpool take on...West Ham. 4-1 that day. Hopefully 4-0

If you can, go back and look at Mo’s touch off the corner in the ~40th (I think) to start the counter. Not as good as Fowler’s but Fowleresque.

Swing and a miss, Gini. Don't pull a muscle, my dude.

The half time guys are clueless today. There’s nothing subjective about shoving a guy in position off the ball to gain control.

Was that Harry Wilson in the Liverpool coat? I know he’s ours and only on loan, but that seems weird to me.

Ah, I go back to the defense had time to recover and failed to do so. And again, we see VAR is a wash. It didn't help us, even if that's the bullshit line people like to throw out to explain a team being 22 points clear of their closest peer.

The defense certainly stopped but that’s  a foul every day of the week.

Hey, Dom. Long time, no see.

Would be nice to pocket one more and call it a day.

That could have been a goal of the season candidate.

Keeping up the pressure. I like it.

Just a subjective nudge in the back from Mo.

Now you’re going to believe us!

It wasn't pretty but it's 3 points.

At least we won. Wednesday is going to be interesting. Simeone has to be confident seeing how we're continuing to play.

Klopp Kop Fist Pump!

Definitely need to roll Ox out there against Atletico. We may need some long shots with the epic bus parking that will occur.

Worried about Wednesday especially with Adrian in goal.

Hendo will train tomorrow and if he's fine will go against Atletico. Andy will be back as well.

We'll get some Anfield magic on Wednesday.

United did it. 2-0. Magic number is 6.

So if City doesn't pull any points out of Wednesday's match with Arsenal, that means we can clinch against Everton right? Otherwise, we have two chances in a row to do it at Anfield, I think.

If City loses to both Arsenal and Burnley, we would clinch without even playing. Next one is the Merseyside Derby at Goodison. Then home to Crystal Palace. If we can clinch, I'd rather it be at Anfield. Those fans deserve to see it and celebrate it at home. If we falter at either, we'd have to wait until heading to City on April 5th.

Also, there’s this

I think and hope we’ll advance on Wednesday but regardless I am going to pop my top like Mt Vesuvius when we clinch number 19. Been a magical season thus far.

We need it with the way we're playing

Might want to look at how Atlético is playing.

They didn't come into the first match lighting the world on fire either.

I posted this in the EPL thread but Serie A halting all matches due to coronavirus. I realize we're a ways away from that in the EPL but maybe it's better if we just wrap this thing up mathematically ASAP.

Already seeing articles that Liverpool might clinch in an empty stadium and not be able to have a victory parade due to COVID-19. It all depends how quickly the virus spreads to the UK, I guess. They've had 273 confirmed cases in the UK through Sunday, with 5 deaths. Obviously, you want to have an abundance of caution and the well being of the public is first and foremost. It just sucks for the long suffering fandom to have to wait. Maybe City will do them a favor and lose another one before Monday.

Things have gone off the rails if we can't do a parade in late May.

Not to be a scold, but please do not post links to that shitass fucking rag in the Liverpool thread.

I'm ready to watch 90 minutes of Spanish Shithousery

Then we'll need the back 4 to not struggle like they've been doing. You'd have to think we're getting a massive bus parking, at least until we score.

I'm looking forward to the bus parking/diving at every bit of contact combo
