  • Totally unrelated to anything in here, but there’s really no where else to post it, and I wanted to share this with some folks who love Liverpool F.C. My wife & I were in England last month for tw

  • In my Facebook memories today, a bit of interesting coincidence. Two years ago today, @Jive Turkey and I made the pilgrimage to Anfield to see LIverpool take on...West Ham. 4-1 that day. Hopefully 4-0

Some really weak/slow through passes today. Even on the first goal, I didn't think that was going to even make it to Salah.

Bobby's passes have been a touch off so far today. Agree that there's a weird passivity to these passes. Need TAA to put a nice one inside.

Yeah, noticed that myself. I imagine tired legs are going to be an issue. We need a quick 3 more goals and rest some people.

So calm by VVD.

Like, did you even get nervous?  You see him back there and it's just calming. And then he does that and you know why.

He hasn't been sharpmbut unfortunately for him and the other two top they don't have much in the way of help from the midfield. There's nothing incisive. Any creativity has to come from direct take ons or from the FBs.

How about that outlet pass from Allison to get it all started

Pretty sure if someone described the dream scenario after christmas we wouldnt have even thought of 13pts clear(possibly) and a game in hand....

Also we will probably go a whole calendar year undefeated in the EPL, insane!!!

How did that not go past the line?

Ha. Position of the ball and not his feet.

That was a team clean sheet. Even Origi got in on the defending.

What if I told you when they went out injured that we'd have 5 straight clean sheets without Fabinho and Matip? 5 straight clean sheets for the first time since 2007.

Gomez and VVD were throwing down clean sheets last year...think it was you who said it earlier...Matip is going to get Matip'd

Plus hendo doesnt get a lot of love for his defense but he does well and you can see the other teams get a bit more dangerous when hendo is subbed out

Well as founder and president of the Joe Gomez fan club, I would have told you, no worries!

Come on, a lot us were worried because Gomez was pretty shaky for a while. But he's acquitted himself quite nicely.

Klopp said Keita injured his groin on the last shot warming up today.

If Klopp made 11 changes for the FA Cup I really wouldn't care,

I think that is a little short sighted.  Don't want to get ahead of myself but there MIGHT be a time in the future we can rest players in some league games and focus on the CL and FAC.

I'd rotate, but I'm thinking~ Adrian, (not a lot you can do w/the back four, especially since Milner had to start today). Lallana, Elliot, and (pick one of Henderson or Gini), then Origi/Minamino/ and one of the three regulars.
