Arsenal’s plan of intricately passing it around in their own box is one of the worst strategies I’ve ever seen an opposing manager implement.

Unbelievable to think you can do that against this front three at Anfield

Not sure how proud I would be of that stat considering the goal differential was +2 with all of those occurring this morning

Tottenham went toe to toe with City last week, right?

Six minutes first half stoppage? Can’t say I’ve seen that in the EPL before. What happened?

Bournemouth’s Daniels fucked up his knee and was substituted out for Harry Wilson.

Liverpool loanee, Harry Wilson, notching another goal.

Tottenham was dominated but FYI..they only count the score not the statistics.   30 shots and only two goals? Not sure I'd be exactly happy about that if your city

Good for him, maybe one day he will get out of Mount's shadow.

Newcastle has to use a sub 17 minutes into a game on a 90 degree day on the road against a team significantly better than them what's the worst that can happen?

Spurs gonna Spurs.  Still down 1-0 after 76 minutes.

Creeping towards a 10 out of 10 on the "that's so Spursy" scale, but there's still time...

Pochettino has been really poor in the first three games. From lineups to tactics he’s been wrong much more than right so far.

Good thing they rested their best player for 45 mins.

it's like Tottenham wants to prove they can win without Eriksen, and when things don't go well, they decide to bring him in and immediately expect goals.  it doesn't always work like that.

Eriksen is looking to leave. Pochettino probably feels like he’s not “all in” and therefore doesn’t want to play him if he can help it. It’s stupid.

I think he should keep doing it.

11 out of 10?

The top 4 anti-battle from last year seems to be going strong still

I'm still saying 10 out of 10. 11 out of 10 would be blowing a lead and losing at home.

Anybody got video of wolves penalty in the 97th min...poor burnley

Spurs have won 4 of their last 15 games. United have one upped them by winning 3 of their last 15.

I hope this isn't another season where it's Liverpool and City playing for perfection. I like it when the mid table teams make a run at the top. Makes all the games more interesting

Same. I hope it's only Liverpool.

I can contribute $20 toward making them a Surly owned club.

If I was a smart dude, I'd set up a Corporation to purchase these clubs and sell shares at $20.00 for anyone who wanted to buy in.

Then we'd buy Neymar.

Bolton should be fine. They have 2 bidders vying to purchase the club. Bury look set to be liquidated in a few hours.

Norwich City is run by shares. Delia Smith owns a little over 50% of the shares IIRC.

Yeah, but they don't own Neymar. Advantage Cheeseweasel FC

Why does the Premier league participate in the Carabao cup? Teams like Norwich and Southampton are starting all backups today.

make it rain money GIF

Bury just got kicked out of the EFL. Should go to prove how inept and idiotic the EFL are. Dale, the guy that bought the club for £1, passed their fit and proper test despite being involved with 51 companies and 43 of those being liquidated. The guy is a huge piece of shit.

The EFL gave Bolton a 14 day notice of having their membership revoked. If their deal doesn’t get pushed through they’ll be liquidated as well.

I’ll be a little disappointed if Bury fans don’t murder the guy.

That is a horrible shame for bury....just reading about it...been in the EFL for 125 years and was founded 134 years ago...hopefully it nevers happens to another club

It likely will happen again. Despite a lot of owners speaking out about issues I doubt the EFL makes meaningful changes. They’re about as good at their job as the NCAA.

We Will see (not counting bolton's 2 week stay) but this is the first since 1992 per the article

Except ManU, of course.

The EFL’s rules encourage teams to operate beyond their means to chase promotion. The EFL also allow people like Ken Anderson, Stewart Day, and Steve Day to own clubs. It’s inevitable.
