VINCIBLE! That’s all I wanted. Enjoy the league trophy, Scousers.
Thats all i wanted liverpool to do....boooo
Guess i'll just have to be happy with the Treble and breaking city's point record

Time for all the Arsenal fans to start showing up to tell us how the “invincibles” are better than this year’s Liverpool team.

I'm not sure me watching is going to make a difference now

Whats the liverpool/relegation line now

Same teams, Leicester on down. The relegation line moved up (27 points) while Liverpool didn’t (obviously).

So, I know this thread is chocked full of irrational Everton haters...but can someone tell me I’m not being objective in saying that we just got royally fucked on that? WTF?!?!

and that’s a huge 2 points in this race. Damnit.

They changed the rule 2-3 years ago about players interfering with the goalies line of sight so I was 99% sure that was going to get overturned when I saw it live. Siggurdson only has himself to blame for lying around like he was having a day at the beach.

I don’t know how you can say that interfered with line of sight. He was on the ground and de Gea tracked the ball with his head the whole way.

Jesus Christ... Everton got screwed. Line of sight? De Gea got to watch that clearly go into the back of the net.

i thought VAR was supposed to even out referee bias for the top clubs.. it just seems to now more clearly highlight that it occurs!

When did Soton become a top club?

So did Everton get jobbed or no? Seems like it.

Yeah. They got jobbed. I think it's one of those shitty VAR decisions that is questionable, at best. Is it a "clear and obvious error"? No way.

De Gea isn't making that save because of the deflection.

I don't see how that ruling goes against Everton.

The league's statement makes ZERO sense

I'm obviously completely unbiased and that was the worst officiating decision in any competition in history.

Okay, maybe not that bad but it was a complete hose job, yes.

There’s a public mauling being televised from London. Chelsea up 4-0 on Everton in the 56th minute. It’s 11 on 11.

That was a slick free kick that led to Man United's first goal.  It should have been saved though.

Yellow cards for simulation are so often stupid.  Fred just got kicked right in the ankle and went down and got a yellow.  You can feel there's not enough contact for a card/penalty and that's fine but you should be damn sure there was no contact before you start giving out cards for diving imo.

Needs more neck tats

VAR is highlighting how bad the officiating in the EPL actually is.

No clue how that was a penalty for handball.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK I'm glad I had a meeting outside the house and couldn't watch this no-lube-at-all match today.

Serie A is now completely shutting down for the time being. This would be the most Liverpool thing ever to have the EPL shut down and not declare a champion for 2019/20.

All sports in Italy have been halted because of the coronavirus outbreak, including games in Serie A and preparatory events for the Tokyo Olympics, Italy Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte confirmed in a television address on Monday.

Conte said the suspension -- which is part of a countrywide lockdown -- would go into effect on Tuesday.

Earlier Monday, the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI), which oversees all sporting events in the country and had initially recommended the ban to the Italian government, said the stoppage would last until April 3.

They'll play but it'll be behind closed doors if they do anything.

Well, it's here. Arsenal-Man City has been postponed due to COVID-19. The Olympiacos owner contracted COVID-19. Arsenal players came in contact with him 13 days ago. The players will remain in their homes for 14 days.

Time to just go ahead and declare this year a no contest.  Nothing more to see, go home folks.  Sorry Liverpool, maybe next year is your year.

Nah, we just need City to keep losing before we even play next.

Games not allowed to be shown in pubs?  Who's going to enforce that?

Can't lose if all our games keep getting postponed

Ha. We accept your surrender. Seriously though, season’s done, right?

I read some article from England earlier today where one of the contingency plans could be to postpone the Euro's until next year, and allow the club seasons to finish during that time.  However I have no idea how anything could reasonably be planned at this time.
