Liverpool fans just got to see what a lack of motivation looks like

True. I would find it hard to get motivated with no fans & no meaning.

Damn, Cahill with a hammy blowout.

That was unfortunate for Cahill. And the timing couldn't have been worse. Chelsea was well within their right to score that goal.

Wow goal and quick answer.  3-2 Chelsea.  Chelsea's playing some fun games in these London derbies against lower table teams.

Holy shit, how did Palace not tie it?

Chelsea’s defense is trash. As is Benteke.

Zaha is the shittiest greatest player in the world.

I'll fully admit that I'm biased (both in being a Chelsea fan and in the games I've watched), but is Pulisic playing as the best player in the EPL right now?  I'm not saying he is the best player, but I can't think of anyone who is playing better than he has since we've come back from the COVID break.

Fernandez is pretty hot right now.

NBC SN has him as one of the top 5.

Good point and good article.  He's been on fire as well and like Pulisic he's had a clear and huge impact on the success of his team.  It also highlights the difficulty of comparing a midfielder and a winger in the who has been better conversation.  Do you take someone who runs their team from the midfield or someone who is incredibly direct and can make game changing plays but isn't necessarily always involved throughout the game due to their position?

On that first replay I was about to say Sian screwed Arsenal on that call, but the 2nd replay she got that offside right. Lacazette was just off by a foot.

I was about to ask how the ref missed that, but then I saw he was behind the player and probably missed the contact with the cleats.

Yeah, that red card VAR was ridiculously long. It should have been a quick decision. Once the ref was "under the hood" he said red almost straight away. I don't know why the league office took so long.

Does 3rd/4th really matter? At this point it's about making the UCL. IMHO, better for Chelsea is that another team is losing contact w/ the top 4.

It means a little more money and pride at the end of the season if we can keep it.  But yes, the more important thing is that now LCFC is more at risk of dropping out of the top 4 than Chelsea.

I just didn't honestly expect it with the amount of fun we've gone through in the past 12 months.

- Hazard out

- Sarri out

- Lampard in

- Transfer Ban

- CHO/RLC torn achilles

- No proven number 9 going into the season

- Tottenham, Liverpool, City, manure and Arsenal all looking strong at the end of last season, not to mention LCFC.

Wow, Sheffield stealing 3 points at the end there. Big points for them in the race for Europe.

And really big for Man U, Chelsea, and Leicester if City's ban sticks.

Liverpool is getting sloppy after jumping out to a 2-0 lead. If not for a dumb offsides, Brighton might have this one evened up.

Yeah, but if not for an early whistle on a foul, this could be 3-1.

Yeah, but if not for a decision to resume the season, this could've been cancelled.

If a meteor landed at midfield, it might be 5-4.
