City might actually be a fun team to watch.

But Pep has to be such a little bitch.

Oh and let's not even get started on their fans.

So basically about 3 weeks off before returning to training. Wow.

The teams playing in Europa and UCL will have even less time depending on how deep they go.

Which is why Klopp backed us out of the UCL. Smart!

how many times has De Bruyne been robbed of the player of the year award?

Meh, they had 3 months of due to COVID.

But seriously, don't you think most players would have had MORE rest this year? Right now we would be playing all of the continental cups, so each country's top players would still be playing since the season ended (or not long after). COVID just gave them 3 months they wouldn't have had overall.

Pep needs to carry around a large cross to nail himself to.

I'd be shocked if he doesn't win PFA. FWA is more of a narrative award.

lulz

Finally win the league and can't stop worrying about other teams and their managers. Decades of failure has warped Liverpool fans' minds. That's cool, though.

This is weak shit talk even from ALincoln.

That's about as bad as something sidis would throw out.

Damn dude...rent check is due I guess.

It looks like NBC isn't going to put everything on TV this go around. Only the games that figure in relegation or the UCL race. Everything else is on Gold/Peacock..

A reminder of what's at stake today. NBCSN's app really needs a multicast window like Fox and ESPN have.

RELEGATION GUIDE:

Three teams will be relegated from the Premier League and sent to the second-tier EFL Championship on Sunday. Last-place Norwich City has already clinched relegation, and three other teams – Aston Villa, Watford and Bournemouth – are hoping to escape the relegation zone on Sunday. Here’s how they sit in the standings with one match left to play.

17. Aston Villa (34 points, -26 goal difference, 40 goals scored)

18. Watford (34 points, -27 goal difference, 34 goals scored)

19. Bournemouth (31 points, -27 goal difference, 37 goals scored)

Teams are ordered first by points, and the first tiebreaker is goal difference. Given how close these three teams are on goal difference, the final day should be wild.

Both Aston Villa and Watford could potentially stay up with a draw, but Bournemouth will have to beat Everton and hope the other two teams lose to have a chance at safety.

If Watford draws with Arsenal, Aston Villa only need a draw with West Ham to secure safety. In the event that Aston Villa and Watford both win or both lose, it will likely come down to goal difference.

In the event that the teams are tied both on points and goal difference, the next tiebreaker is goals scored.

What if Watford wins by more?

Damn, Newcastle scored in the first minute.

Newcastle 1, Liverpool 0

Arsenal struck first against Watford

Arsenal 1, Watford 0

Kane scores for Spurs

Palace 0,  Spurs 1

That moves Spurs into a virtual 6th right now.

Bournemouth 1 Everton 0

Shit. Bournemouth up on a PK

You still have them on goals scored.

On points if Villa draws.  If Bournemouth win and Villa lose, that will reverse the GD.

Damn De Gea, try holding onto one?  He muffed an easy bouncer but Vardy was offside for the rebound.

Arsenal get a 2nd on Watford. Have to think they're done.

Aresnal 2 Watford 0

Okay. So. Watford's out.

Correct. If results hold, Bournemouth are in 18th, Watford in 19th on goal differential (-26 to -30)

Arsenal 3 Watford 0.  Looks like it's coming down to Bournemouth vs Villa.  Bournemouth has to win and Villa has to lose for Bournemouth to stay up.

never mind.

Villa back to safety.

They've been safe, they are still up with a draw.

Lulz, the new manager is now sitting at 0 GF 7 GA since taking over.

Uh oh. Watford clawing their way back in. Got 1 on Arsenal.

In the match everyone was interested in today, Burnley and Brighton are level at 1.
