Or didn't get them greasy enough.

Our owner is a Russian oligarch.  I'm pretty sure if he wants to bride someone he can and he knows exactly how to do it.

- Teemu Pukki was insane. He had 29 goals and 9 assists last year. That's an obviously not sustainable production level in the Premier League

I was wrong. Teemu Pukki is going to be the best goal scorer in EPL history apparently.

bullshit yellow on Soto - that was a money slide tackle

Southampton should be up 3-0. They are dominating this game straight up.

Yeah, no. I bet their xg for this half is .6 or less.

Trossard redeems the score VAR took from him earlier, 1-1 Brighton.

Jesus, Adrian with a howler.  That looked like something on FIFA when one guy's never played before.

And Saints miss an easy chance to equalize - wtf is going on in this match?  My goodness.

Pre-VAR Brighton would've won 2-1, but there is something to be said about playing fairly. It was a pretty good home opener game, we pretty much controlled the game throughout.

Pool got away with one - could have easily been a point for Soto today

Definitley a little troubling for Liverpool. Moreso for AV.

A lot of those guys played 120 minutes on Wednesday in Istanbul. Liverpool last season would've given away the 2 points. Luckily, we've got Mane and Firmino.

Whew. 3 points secured. Now I can relax and watch this awesome early season matchup.

Does anyone offer good streaming quality for PL? NBC Sports app and YouTube TV look pretty bad.

Oh shit, Lamela with a sneaky shot.  Keeper gave him an opening and he found it.

Nice equalizer. Looks like they'll need about 4 of those, though.

pochettino needs to rethink eriksen in the middle with cissoko rampaging down the right i would deploy eriksen behind him, or move cissoko in front of eriksen

Looked offsides to me, but I'd need to see it again.

If he's not in the top 5, he definitely shows up between 6 and 10.

I still can't understand what Chelsea were thinking letting KDB, Salah, and Lukaku go.  God dammit.

Apparently part of the strategy today is to let Sterling run free.

Walker-Peters is talented but consistently has a defensive fuck up every game.

Mourinho said they couldn’t play defense.

Or they might score more than once and fuck up his beloved "I'm-so-smart" 1-0 results.

But, but, soccer's boring!

Well... what's probably the best team in the world isn't boring.
