Fav hotel is the Renaissance Waterfront.  Close to office, close to No Name Seafood and close to Harpoon brewery.  And yes, very expensive.

Holy shit yes they are.  Wife and I looked at them last night before getting a VRBO on Beacon hill, which wasn't cheap either.

And most of them suck. Omni Parker House? Sucks. Fairmont Copley Plaza? Sucks. As far as I'm concerned, you're better off just grabbing the Hilton or whatever closest to where you want to be. The rest are too expensive and not very nice. They do have some boutique places that are okay (like the Envoy over by the District/Circuit Court), but they are expensive and weird.

My go to is the Doubletree Boston Bayside. Right by a subway stop. Stay there because it’s walking distance to a client.

Fuck Boston

Get an Airbnb in the Jamaica Plain area. You are with locals with good food and bars. It's a quick train ride to the Back Bay area and other neighborhoods.

We stay at the Kimpton over in Cambridge.   Technically walkable to downtown but it's an easy Uber ride.

I like westin copley.

Walkable to Fenway and other spots.

Plenty of good eats in Back Bay.

They’ve a nice exec lounge and decent gym.

Anyone ever stay at the Marriott Vacation Club at Custom House? Thoughts? Reviews?
