Maybe you should post the four tweets the expand upon this tweet, including the link to this article that she wrote more fully explaining her argument: https://medium.com/@teamwarren/our-military-can-help-lead-the-fight-in-combating-climate-change-2955003555a3.

Yes, her argument for a bill meant to protect da troops from the effects of a calamity of such scope and immensity as to endanger human civilization.  Good thing Liz is here to help us maintain the empire as the oceans die.

You're so disingenuous.

What I posted is literally true.  It's also a perfect illustration of how liberalism is wholly unequipped to deal with this danger (fighting climate change by reducing greenhouse emissions from our globe-spanning death machine!) and that we are all pretty much doomed.

What you posted was disingenuous.  Not only did you post one tweet out of context, but your argument conveniently fails to note that she states that this is "part of our climate solution" and that the military can help "lead the fight."  She clearly doesn't mean that military readiness is the only reason to fight climate change or that this is the only solution that she is going to provide.  But you would rather be a disingenuous shit than actually discuss the merits of her plan.

Apologies for not giving Liz due credit for making the worthless boilerplate statement that greenifying the war machine is only "part" or our climate solution.  Please forgive me.

Warren is going to wreck shit in this campaign.  While guys like Biden, Beto, Bernie, and Buttigieg try to placate and pander to the various demographics, Warren will be fire-hosing uncomfortable truth bombs multiple times a day.

I love this woman

The Arctic hit 86 degrees this week and Warren's frame for this issue is "think of the troops!!" lmao

Good.  Start laying the groundwork for the climate change "national emergency" now.   With a military component, all the better.

Elect this woman. She is the fucking best.

The only thing her campaign will possibly accomplish is make it that much easier for Biden to win the nomination.  I'm starting to think that's the whole point.

She's too much of a try-hard to be part of that kind of conspiracy.

Two minute clip with more context.

watching the clip is worth it, if only to see this imbecile utter the phrase, "senator warren, no one has been more tougher, on wells fargo, than myself."

more tougher.  around the 1 minute mark.

Dude turned around and asked for his balls back from the holding jar after.  That was hilarious.

I think she's the candidate with the most substance and most specific plan to fix shit.  She has my vote

Seems to me she’s emerging as the leader of the Democratic Party because she appears to be the only one that wants to actually lead.   You don’t get any half measured “we got to work with Republicans” bullshit from her.

Who actually thinks "I was a debate champ in HS" means anything at all when it comes to performance on a candidate debate stage?

Anyone?

Obviously being a high school debate champion means very little in the real world but it does help explain why she’s so good at explaining complex issues to average folks.

The type of debate she did in high school was the most complex at the time and centered around US government policy.  To have any success, you have to be able to persuade people from all walks of life because your judges could be anyone from experienced former debaters to moms from across the street that have never seen a debate in their life.

Elizabeth Warren got a college scholarship off this.

The difference between televised presidential debates and high school/college debates is about as vast as professional wrestling and high school/college wrestling.

Maggie Haberman fuggin sucks. The shock. The HORROR. She worked round-the-clock to help people in bankruptcy cases while also educating people about the fucked up system.

Is that all she did?

It is clear that Warren received a substantial amount of money to help the company win immunity from all future lawsuits, with the expectation that the company would have to pay the settlement. But Warren’s work on the case may also have helped Travelers indirectly lay the groundwork for its current position, a position Warren and several other lawyers involved on both sides of the case say they did not foresee: where Travelers has immunity from most suits without having to pay the settlement.
