October 31, 20196 yr How the fuck does a 159-158 (Hou/Was) happen in regulation. That's like fucking AllStar game type shit. What is more puzzling is how does Houston give up 158 to the Wizards? Good lord.

October 31, 20196 yr Not getting any normaller the more you post it. But the answer is: Mike Dantoni.
October 31, 20196 yr The Wizards aren't as horrible as I expected. Same with Charlotte.Meanwhile the Warriors and Kings are much worse than expected.
October 31, 20196 yr Author In a story that I broke first, Steph Curry broke his hand tonight in a nasty fall. The Dubs season somehow gets even more bleak. Edited October 31, 20196 yr by Goo Punch Make sure you say that Rick Reilly broke the story
October 31, 20196 yr Warriors are done 4 games into the season. Sad for their run to come literally with the wheels falling off.....It was a hell of a run and now they should get a lottery pick.
October 31, 20196 yr Curry broke his hand, time to tank for the WarriorsBased on my crack research, the 2020 first round pick they traded to the Nets is top 20 protected. Warriors fans should familiarize themselves with tankathon.com
October 31, 20196 yr Warp the offense into nonstop PnR's for Russell, lose every game 118-86, but Russell averages 27 ppg, trade him at his highest value, draft in the top 5, bring back Steph and Klay to start next season, profit?
October 31, 20196 yr The Warriors shouldn't even play Klay this season, let him recuperate from his injury and pick up a lotto pick. Making the playoffs was going to be a stretch, without Curry they don't have a chance.

Shit, just let him shoot eight 3's a game to see if he can break the mental block that he's built up the past three seasons. From the best shooting team in NBA history to quite possibly the worst in 5 months. They're down to one guy on the roster who doesn't make you cringe attempting anything outside of the paint, and he was only an injury replacement Eastern all-star. Injuries come at you fast. October 31, 20196 yr Through 4 games, have not held an opponent under 120 points, no game went to OT.

October 31, 20196 yr Wolves played at Philly last night...talk about height and talent difference! That lineup is so tall. Theyll be a beating to play against for anybody in the east. Especially subbing Biid and harris for horford and simmons. Couldnt just stay in boston, Al? Im not a big Simmons guy but he is fun to watch. Everybody sags on him because he cant shoot...but hes already a good driver and finisher that his shots are such a high %age. Thank god JJ left. Plus theyre all good defenders with a guy off the bench who leads the league in deflections? I think theyre my east favorite until injuries happen

October 31, 20196 yr Warriors go from looking to 3peat and cementing themselves as one of the greatest NBA dynasties out there to now on the path to a lottery pick. Shit changes fast in sports and nothing ever lasts. Injuries did them in and even when Klay comes back next season, they won't be the same as they were. And they just built that new arena lulz. They built that roster organically through the draft aside from KD so we will see if they can do it again. Edited October 31, 20196 yr by Vic Mackey

Issue is if Russell averages 27 ppg, he'd probably need 27 shots and shoot about 35%. His biggest challenge is to continue to work on his efficiency, playmaking, and defense. On this team, he's gonna have tough time getting his assist numbers up. Who's gonna finish? lol. But yea, he should get all the USG he can handle. Are the Warriors a bottom 2 team in the West now?
October 31, 20196 yr Lmao. KD is all over the place.Dont blame him. Grab your rings, move across the country. Dray is a fuckhead

October 31, 20196 yr C'mon, KD. Yes, Dray is an idiot and should have kept his fucking mouth shut, but don't pretend like you were ever going to stay. You thought going to Golden State would be basketball nirvana: a family atmosphere of selfless hoopers hanging out and winning championships in a diverse, opportunity-rich city. Instead, it was "KD and the Warriors," the titles weren't as fulfilling as you had hoped, you weren't as appreciated by the city as you deserved to be, and you and Steph weren't BFFs off the court (as any dad with 2 young kids and a 3rd on the way trying to make time for his single friends could have told you). It didn't work out exactly how you envisioned; it happens, and it was no one's fault. Continuing to take potshots is a bad look. He's where he wants to be now on a team full of his boys; I hope he finds the life fulfillment he's looking for.

In the owner's ever-so-slight defense, that quote was always about the business/financial side of the operation, which was largely true. Though, I'm not sure that any owner should be bragging about how effective they are at squeezing every last dime out of your consumers and advertisers, especially in a league where the product can sour overnight.
