Kind of surprised that there isn't a thread yet. But not that surprised, I suppose, since it's on Epix, and who the hell knows what that channel is.

I've watched the first two episodes, and it's a real hoot. Very absurd, Cohen-esque "oddball bumbling con men" kind of story. Great dialogue and intriguing, twisting plot. Stars Ben Kingsley and Jimmi Smith (young MIB from WestWorld, one of the McPoyles) among others.

Check it out.

This show is outstanding and you should be watching it if you've enjoyed any of the Fargo TV seasons.

i will start this as soon as you start the handmaid's tale and do writeups.

it's venturing into veena sud territory.

Ha!  I wish I had thought to download that thread before the old place went to shit.

I haven't watched a minute of The Handmaid's Tale, but I don't know if I have the time or the anger to spare these days...

season 1 is pretty good.

we're mid/late season 3 now and the show is still trying to "find its way".

ran thru the first 4 episodes - i'm digging it.  it definitely has the coen bros ability to introduce a new character in such a way that you feel like you know them immediately, and want them back on the screen.  everything with glenn and the goggles and trip to mexico was cracking me up in such a sad way.  i had to rewind it a couple of times.

i'm loving all the different story threads and the visuals are outstanding.  the split-overhead-shot with the bank/typewriter was greatness.

i have no idea where it's going, but i'll check back in as i get towards the end of the season.

Enjoy it.

Criminally and shamefully under the radar.

Virtually every character could carry a spinoff series.

Just started tonight and it’s fantastic.

It’s by the guys that did “Patriot” on Amazon Prime and you can feel it in the show’s DNA. Especially since they both include Terry O’Quinn and Kurtwood Smith.

I only wish I hadn’t started the first episode at 11:00 PM.

Just started. Pa trying to get a beer from the sheriff was hilarious.

How does one watch this without Epix?

Kinda surprised it’s good considering Epix’s original programming track record.  Graves was dumb and formulaic despite the cast, and Berlin Station was absolutely horrible after an uneven season 1. So I expected more of the same.

Get Shorty is good from epix. Its on netflix also. So maybe Netflix could get this also.
