Nobody's getting in front of a shot like that. And as hard as Xhaka hit it, I wouldn't want to.

I guess this is the right thread.

A brawl broke out during a women’s college soccer game between Rutgers and UMass on Sunday that saw multiple punches thrown after a whistle had blown for a foul.

Rutgers senior Gia Girman and UMass senior Ashley Lamond were the two parties involved in the fight, when teammates had to ultimately step in to stop punches being thrown on the pitch in Amhert, Massachusetts.

The altercation began when Girman committed a foul from behind on a different UMass player in the 55th minute of the match, when both players hit the turf.

Credit where it's due--at least the ladies actually threw hands and went after it, unlike all the BS posturing we see in the men's game.

Girman looks like she did a 100 yard dash in a 50 yard gym.

I saw this goal with this caption:

This goal is just aesthetically pleasing

I'll take a sequence of touches we might never see the USMNT achieve for one thousand, Alex.

Well we are doing stuff like this now.

I’m not ashamed to admit I’ve seen both of these teams play. Although I didn’t see this game. I work from home and ESPN+ shows the most random college matches on random afternoons. I’ll just throw one on. Hell, South Alabama v. Middle Tennessee State women last week was a 4-3 barnburner.  Anyway, just goes to show you never know what you might see when you watch low level college soccer.

This might be the worst miss in the history of soccer. Good grief. He must have money on the under.

The Wolves goal against Toon just now was pretty clever.  Two nutmegs on the last pass.

some janky highlights. can't believe i saw this live.

MTSU goalies save immediatly prior to winning goal off rebound was impressive

The fluidity of the connection is borderline scary.

Always love Sunday league shithousery vids!

Saw that earlier!  Complete brain cramp!

Mama Joy w/ the throat slash makes this highlight elite:

Not sure what this falls under but it's a hell of a way to equalize.

SMU tied Tree 2-2. No one cares about college soccer but SMU was a beautiful add to the strongest soccer conference. We've been a perennial top 15-20ish squad in my time as a Mustang. I remember getting to see Messi and Argentina through the fence rails - they used our pitch to warm up for a friendly against El Tri in Jerryworld.

Rather than “brilliant technique”, I believe that it should be “brilliant execution”.

Everyone uses the same technique.

The technique was common. The execution was what was “brilliant”.

is 44 goals in 42 Champions League games good?

Lets see if this one will stay up

Very Ibra-esque, from the finish to the manbun and even the rope-a-dope loafing.
