October 5Oct 5 Author So Fanatics has put out this set of "crossover" soccer style NFL jerseys. I gotta say I am very unimpressed. They are just pretty damn lazy, IMHO. Not to say there aren't good ones, but there are a lot of clunkers. The Athletic ranked them, and they really missed the mark with their rankings - https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6438021/2025/09/30/nfl-soccer-jerseys-fanatics/ I won't put them in ranking order, but by division: AFC East Spoiler AFC West Spoiler AFC North Spoiler AFC South Spoiler NFC East Spoiler NFC West Spoiler NFC North Spoiler NFC South Spoiler I think there are a few good ones, but they are mostly bland. When you look at teams like the Steelers, you have to think WTF/ZZzz especially since they could have done something like their old stripes from the 30s. Anyway, thoughts?
October 5Oct 5 “Fanatics designed a crossover soccer jersey that will fit like shit and fall apart the first time you wash it.” fixed it for you
October 6Oct 6 Author Yeah, Fanatics sucks and makes garbage gear. No question. That said - I think this idea isn't awful. But has mostly been executed awful. These a soccer jerseys made for football fans, most of them are boring as shit or lazy. I mean look at the Packers, Steelers, Browns, etc. Lame. The lazy is shit like the Broncos - litterally their old jerseys. The best ones are things like the Bills, Chargers, Colts, and the Jets which is the best one IMHO. The Athletic's list was ... judged by a non soccer fan. Spoiler 32 – New York Jets 31 – Denver Broncos 30 – Atlanta Falcons 29 – Jacksonville Jaguars 28 – Seattle Seahawks 27 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26 – Washington Commanders 25 – Arizona Cardinals 24 – Minnesota Vikings 23 – Miami Dolphins 22 – New England Patriots 21 – Philadelphia Eagles 20 – Green Bay Packers 19 – Cincinnati Bengals 18 – Los Angeles Rams 17 – Cleveland Browns 16 – Houston Texans 15 – Chicago Bears 14 – Indianapolis Colts 13 – Pittsburgh Steelers 12 – New Orleans Saints 11 – Tennessee Titans 10 – Las Vegas Raiders 9 – San Fransisco 49ers 8 – New York Giants 7 – Detroit Lions 6 – Dallas Cowboys 5 – Kansas City Chiefs 4 – Los Angeles Chargers 3 – Buffalo Bills 2 – Carolina Panthers 1 – Baltimore Ravens
October 31Oct 31 Borussia Dortmund getting in on the act. Curious what the Bundesliga thinks of this. Something tells me they don't take a similar view to pyrotechnics as their Argentinian counterparts.
