March 4, 20205 yr Wanyama joins the Montreal Impact on a free transfer. There are apparently some performance criteria that may mean we see some money out of it, but the biggest thing is getting him off the wagebill.
March 4, 20205 yr Author Spurs took an early lead on a goal by Super Jan. Norwich just tied it up in the 78th minute
March 4, 20205 yr Author Yup Who were those guys at the end that missed PKs? Edited March 4, 20205 yr by Captain Ron
March 4, 20205 yr 21 minutes ago, Captain Ron said: Yup Who were those guys at the end that missed PKs? Lamela, Parrot, Fernandes. Also, Dier ran into the stands after a fan. Supposedly, a fan said something racist to Fernandes to spark it.
March 4, 20205 yr lol. I thought keepers couldn't jump off their line before the kick. Norwich keeper was practically standing in front of the ball by the time the shot was taken on those last two.
March 4, 20205 yr So Mourinho said the issue with Dier was due to the fan talking shit to Dier and his brother. Mourinho also said Bergwijn and Moura asked to be subbed off because they said they were close to injury.

March 7, 20205 yr lol. I thought keepers couldn't jump off their line before the kick. Norwich keeper was practically standing in front of the ball by the time the shot was taken on those last two. That rule is violated 95+% of the time and virtually never enforced. It’s ridiculous.

March 7, 20205 yr Zero possession, zero creativity, zero desire. They’ll have plenty of time between matches after this week.

I really don't get what people are expecting. We'll be lucky if we get through the next few games without more injuries since we're running guys into the ground. Edited March 7, 20205 yr by Schulz2.0

March 7, 20205 yr 46 minutes ago, midtown said: Not to lose to relegation teams. Is that too much to ask? Burnley is solidly midtable. Regardless, we've had a shit ton of injuries and we've been playing a bunch of games with short periods of rest in between. Going out of the Cup and getting knocked out of CL by RBL will likely be a blessing in disguise. We have the depth to play one game a week. We're stretched to the point of breaking when playing a midweek game every week.
March 8, 20205 yr Its possible the midweek game with RBL is done without fans in the stadium due to the coronavirus.
March 9, 20205 yr Mourinho is saying he might not play again this season. Edited March 9, 20205 yr by Schulz2.0

Kind of hard to get an idea of moves without knowing what competitions we'll be in next season and if teams will be relegated. I would think Vertonghen moves on after his contract ends in June.
March 23, 20205 yr L'Equipe is reporting that we're approaching Lyon's Head of Recruitment Florian Maurice to be our Director of Football.
