July 26, 20205 yr Author Yup. I think the best part is that the slot is guaranteed too. In 7th place, you gotta be rooting for Chelsea in the FA Cup Final (not like you aren't). Edited July 26, 20205 yr by Captain Ron
July 27, 20205 yr Author Jan has confirmed he will depart the club after this year. He's lost more than a few steps, but he will be missed. BTW - who's going to fire up the next season?
July 27, 20205 yr Author So I started following Spurs in 2012-13. With Jan's departure I think he is the last main player from that team to leave the club. Lloris would take over as the teams #1 keeper that year and Kane was listed as being on the senior club, but wouldn't become a standout for 2 more seasons.
July 27, 20205 yr Author Two last things for the morning: ONE - The EPL has allocated 6 or 7 slots for Europe: UCL - Liverpool, City, ManU, Chelsea Europa - Leicester, Spurs, ???? ??? is Arsenal if they win the FA Cup, Wolves if Chelsea wins the FA Cup However, Wolves are still alive in Europa this year, should they win it, then they would make the UCL. It's become a question about the 6th place qualifier slot if they would be pushed out if Wolves & Arsenal all win their respective cups. According to this account, Spurs would not lose their slot: Also note the information about what slot they enter in. TWO - who's starting the new thread?
July 27, 20205 yr Many questions going into next season. Does Ndombele stay? Does Hojbjerb come over from Southampton? Do we get a FB? What will the thread title for the new season be? So many answers needed.
July 27, 20205 yr It's become a question about the 6th place qualifier slot if they would be pushed out if Wolves & Arsenal all win their respective cups.Well shit. I hope that post is correct.
July 27, 20205 yr Author The idea about 8 EPL teams is that Wolves would actually qualify via Europe and not England, so they don’t count as an England entry. But fuck it, go Chelsea. And my 2020-21 pick - The Mou Season.

July 27, 20205 yr So what's Super Jan likely to do? Sign with a lower tier English club? Go to another league and serve as a mentor for a few years? Retire?
July 30, 20205 yr Mixed on the kits. That green might grow on me. Not a fan of the pattern on the white.

I'll wait until I hear something from Eccleshare, Kilpatrick, Gold, Hytner, etc. I'm sure there's interest in Ndombele, but Spurs beat writers have been pretty steadfast that Levy has no intention of selling.
August 5, 20205 yr Looks like Hojberjg for $15m. While getting $12m for Walker-Peters is pretty close to being done.
August 11, 20205 yr Hojbjerg officially transfers from Southampton to Spurs. Kyle Walker Peters goes to the Saints as part of the deal.
