September 1, 20196 yr Author Spurs are doing well on the counter attack, hopefully they can get another one with it.
September 1, 20196 yr Author Well that turned into a disaster. Hope they don't screw up this free kick.
September 1, 20196 yr Author What was Kane doing there? He has to get that ball off right off the bat!!!!
September 1, 20196 yr Author Rose totally botched that from the get go. Lloris made the save and it goes straight to Rose. He has acres of space, just boot it down the field!!!! Instead he tries to dribble it out, his 2nd touch is too heavy and let's Luis get in on him and he turns it over.
September 1, 20196 yr Author The goal right before the half and Kane not getting that one shot to squeeze in, could be a different game, now they need to get steady. And honestly, I'm not sure I see anything better than the draw right now. Arsenal is dominating the play.
September 1, 20196 yr Author Sanchez trying to play the ball out of the back is the stuff of nightmares.

September 1, 20196 yr Author Dele needs to stop with the diving, he's already picked up a reputation, he isn't doing himself favors.
September 1, 20196 yr Played better today than last week. I’ll take the point. Happier if Kane had gotten a penalty.
September 1, 20196 yr Holy shit, I did not realize that Mister Tramps was a Spurs hub on match day. Just walked in and it’s packed.
September 1, 20196 yr Author Yeah, I think they were featured on NBC SN once or twice for games. HOLY SHIT, you aren't kidding about packed!!! Edited September 1, 20196 yr by Captain Ron

September 1, 20196 yr in terms of the match, the draw is disappointing considering how things started but i'll take it considering how things went after halftime. sanchez was lost out there today, which makes me wonder what aurier has done to get so crossways with poch. if the goal was 8 feet wider and 10 feet taller sissoko would be the PL's leading scorer. how did xhaka make it to 90+ before getting a card? and for that matter, there were quite a few arsenal players that could/should have been booked had martin been consistent with how he booked spurs players. here's hoping the closing of the european window and the international break will allow them time to get their minds right and make a run in sept/oct.
September 1, 20196 yr They’re trying to sell Aurier. He’s been inconsistent at best. I still don’t really understand what Pochettino is doing. Played the ball out of the back when we didn't have the personnel on the field to do so. Kept Sanchez at RB the entire time when he was getting killed. Lo Celso on for Son when our offense was really only coming on counters. Only used two subs.

I thought Lo Celso should have come in at Sissoko’s position with Sissoko playing RB and Sanchez out. Should have happened way, way before the 78th minute. Moura definitely needed to be on to maintain a counter threat.

Sanchez has looked bad for the last 18 months! If he doesn’t improve this season, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s sold next summer. I know he was hurt off and on last season, but Christ he’s been bad. Xhaka needed to be sent off. Those challenges were reckless at best. Hopefully, everyone is back and we go on a run after the international break.
September 1, 20196 yr In hindsight. We drew at Ethihad and Emirates. Other than the Burnley shit the bed I'd be happy with 2-2-0. Lots to be sorted out but not jumping off any cliffs yet.

September 4, 20196 yr Btw. They are claiming a very special guest. I believe there are some former Spurs players living in the US and also in Austin. Would be great if they pulled in a Spurs legend

Fort Worth Spurs are planning a trip as well.
September 5, 20196 yr Author Man, that would be an awesome trip to make. I can't as I will be traveling to Austin for work in November. But I am going to see if the local Boston chapter has anyone planning on going.
September 10, 20196 yr Lo Celso out for several weeks after sustaining an ankle injury in Argentina’s friendly against Chile. Edited September 10, 20196 yr by Schulz2.0
